Multiple reports now that Juve and Genoa have a deal for Pietro Pellagri, €20 million will go to Genoa.
Assuming that the deal for Pellegri becomes officially official, I'm curious to see what it might mean, if anything, for the future of Moise Kean at Juventus. It's hard to judge Kean's actual quality because Hellas are so terrible, but with Pellegri being just as much of a physical freak and even younger, signing him could very easily undermine any kind of hardball tactics Raiola might deploy in the future to (re)negotiate Kean's professional contract.
Looks like hes not coming here.. this sucks. I dont like how Juve wont spend a lot of money for young guys, but they are willing to spend the same amount of money for older guys who have a moderate success record in the past. https://www.football-italia.net/116223/reports-pellegri-close-monaco
https://www.football-italia.net/116220/juve-fight-napoli-politano Looks like Juan is going to be out for a good chunk of time, may need surgery. Dont get why Juve would go after him when they have Costa and Berna who can both play in that right wing spot. Has anyone seen Politano play? What is his style of play and what attributes and traits does he possess?
With how many balls that get passed into the box from this team, having a big strong tall striker seems ideal. He would be perfect relief for Gonzalo who typically doesnt score at the end of games. How many times have we seen Juan and Lichtsteiner just bang in balls from the right touch line? It has been a while since Gonzalo has connected a good header with those. 22 million is a lot of money, but its not a lot of money for a 16 year old dude who is proving he can perform at the pro level... he is going to light it up in France and will get sold to a english team or spanish team for a lot of money. We will never see him in a Juve jersey because he will be sold for upwards of 50 million. But he will get playing time which he would seldom get here, so he will develop more and maybe he will get called up for the Euros.
Pellegri seemed expensive...i'm ok not getting him. Schick was expensive too and he had more experience and we saw how that turned out. I think rather than buying, Marotta should learn how to sell high. Monaco just got paid 24M for their unknown 3rd striker. And we all see how these smaller teams really milk the bigger teams with astronomical figures. Sturaro should be 40-50M if these nobodys go for that high. Players like Lichsteiner have been here too long and his value has dropped i'm sure. Its time to sell atleast him and Sturaro and buy a good mid or RB
Juve has contacted Atletico Madrid about signing Carrasco. With it looking like Cuadrado being out for a few months Juve's looking for another winger.
Does anyone get this? We are having issues rotating Cuadrado, Bernardeschi, and Costa and we need another winger? Not to mention we just loaned away Pjaca.
Costa is getting better at it, but Berna is terrible. You can bet an Atleti winger is a 2 way player!
MDS has looked pretty competent the past few games at the full back spot. I would like to see Max just roll with him.
I am not sure why this fascination with a winger as we have been playing better without one. Neither Costa or Bernardeschi are true wingers. They are players who like to attack diagonally, which gives us better options than a winger who runs the line and crosses it in. They also fit better when paired with Dybala and Mandzukic when playing behind Higuain.
Carrasco is the most retarded rumor i have heard. LOL we spent over 100M on Berna, Costa and Pjaca....which we ended up loaning one out...and now we wanna spend another 40 or whatever he costs for Carrasco? pure journalism BS, Allegri just said today we are not getting anyone and Thank God....Winter transfer window has been nothing but bullshit players for us anyway. cant wait til its done so people focus back on whats important
Well, we have heard disinformation from our club before. Looks like now we know about Juan, we may bring in the Sass winger: https://www.football-italia.net/116359/napoli-concede-politano-defeat
And now this. I guess we have to wait until Wed night to find out. https://www.football-italia.net/116373/marotta-‘no-deals-juventus’
He was way up the touch line for most of the last game, they wouldnt pass it to him for some reason. When they did pass it to him, he didnt really have many options either other then to force a cross.
Perhaps Politano was interested in going to Napoli at first, but as soon as Juventus showed interest... maybe Politano told Napoli no thanks and that he rather wait for Juve. Otherwise DL is going to have a lot of egg on his face for this bluff he tried to employ.
Looks like Icardi may be heading off to Real in what is one of the biggest winter transfers ever arguably.
If the past is any indication, never believe anything Marotta says when it comes to the transfer window. Romeo Agresti is stating that a deal for Leandro Fernandes is done , He'll arrived Turin for his medical tomorrow.
