La Repubblica is claiming that Roma has rejected an offer from Juve for Kevin Strootman. Juve reportedly offered €7 million plus Mandragora. Orsolini is reportedly set to join Bologna in January but Atalanta claims they must first find a replacement for the winger. Marotta: "Dybala? We have focused a lot on him, he has given important & extraordinary signals .. He is young, we must have the patience to wait for him. Without any doubt he will remain at Juventus." Marotta: "Marchisio? He’s an important player, he had a serious injury, it's normal that we want to create a strong lineup with continuity. I think Marchisio and Emre Can are good in a midfield of Juventus." Marotta: "Emre Can? There is a lot of competition, we do not know if he wants to extend his contract with Liverpool. He's an excellent player, it an excellent opportunity for us so we will do everything we can to sign him." Juve are reportedly pondering a large bid for Robert Lewandowski in the summer.
OMG if this is serious, it will be an AMAZING singing. Lewandowski is arguably the best striker in the world right now.
Marotta and Paratici are meeting with Cagliari DS Tommasi Giulini today to close the deal for Han, they're also expected to discuss Barella in addition to Cagliari's interest in Cerri, Audero and Calgary. Fabio Paratici and Claudio Chiellini met today with Bryan Cristante’s agent Giuseppe Riso yesterday. Juve will meet with Asamoah's agent in the coming weeks. The Ghanian could extend his contract with Juve. Juve are interested in Bellerin, who’s valued at €40 million by Arsenal.
Lewandowski aint gonna add much to our team the way we play. He won't get the same service as he does in Bayern, same as Higuain isn't. We just have to accept that is not our style...to have 1 super striker to rely on and give them service. It has been like this since 2012 Conte days...we play as a team and goals come from everywhere. Its actually good we're not reliant on one player cuz when they go down you suffer. This would only make sense if we got a big offer for Higuain, which i doubt we will unless its China.
Well Lewandowski can really play with the team. He has to do a lot more work with Poland national team, and usually till performs there.
Anyone who doesn't see Lewandowski as an upgrade, I have no words. If he comes then I think Mandzu may move on. He can play where Mario does now or as a replacement for Higgy. If we stick him in the middle with Costa and Berna on the flanks with Dybala in the hole and Pjanic behind we could have a deadly counterattack. Once again it will increase our playing flexibility and give us another way to win/score. Bring him on.
If Lewa comes (which he won't) Higgy would be gone not Mandzu. Lewa would not tolerate being a non-Striker.
Claudio about to be ADPed by the club? http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-marchisio-will-not-be-handed-new-juve-deal-91627
Seriously, once Calciopoli decimated us I thought that at least we were done with the fickle glory hunters. They were so quick to jump ship that most of them didn't even wait for the sporting tribunal to officially relegate us to Serie C2 (later reduced to Serie B). But reading through the various social media outlets, especially during the damn transfer windows, not only have the opportunists returned, they've returned with a vengeance; it's as if 2006 never happened for them (because, being the glory hunters they are, it didn't). Some of them, clearly, don't even know what Calciopoli is and they obviously could care less. It pisses me off something fierce, because many of us, especially on this forum, did stand with the club through the absolute worst period in our history and now these bastards have returned, glorying in our trophies one minute and then demanding Marotta be sacked because he didn't sign their (shitty) favorite player. The shameless hypocrisy is almost breathtaking. It's all I can do not to tell them to piss off and "support" merda, because that's the club they actually deserve.
I really hope Marchisio ends his career here as he is to me what im guessing Del Piero, Scirea, Platini etc were to allot of other Juve fans (made me a fan+favorite player). Not to mention that it would just be beautiful to see a youth product see out his entire career (aside from Empoli loan) and become world class in the process. Imo if he can recover from his injury he will still have ALLOT to offer and can still perform at a top level (as we saw in pre season). But if he were to ever leave, my preferred destination for him would be Toronto FC as he would be reunited with Gio.

AFP 7 Mario Balotelli could be set to join Juventus on free transfer in the summer AFP 7 Mario Balotelli has been impressive this season, with 17 goals for Nice Free transfer specialists Juventus are looking to strike again — with Emre Can also closing in on a move for nothing in the summer. The Old Lady's relationship with Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola, who also represents Bianconeri stars Blaise Matuidi and Moise Kean, is key to the deal. A five-year contract has already been drawn up, with a handsome signing-on bonus awaiting the striker, and he would play a key role in the first team, not just as back-up to Gonzalo Higuain. He would be well received at the club, with Gianluigi Buffon, who could yet extend his playing career beyond the summer, particularly keen on a deal. JU BEAUTY Stars Juventus have landed for free, with Emre Can set to join from Liverpool in the summer However, the club's hierarchy know that it would only take a few good performances to get the supporters onside. Balotelli, who has a trial with Barcelona at the age of 15, was considered the future of Italian football when he broke into the Inter Milan side at the age of 17.
Like it's been said... no way Juve would bring him here. He does however deserve a call up the NT for the future given his recent success( even if it's in a lower league) and his mostly good behaviour. Really surprised to hear someone stating that Gigi would be so supportive of this, given how Mario acted in Brazil and pissed off all of the vets. That is how I knew this article was most likely a lie. If it is true, perhaps Gigi believes in 2nd chances... Buffon got a 2nd chance himself, even if he was not guilty, guilty by association has destroyed many people before. Mario was being trashed a lot just for the color of his skin.
