    in.

never had any interest in this show for however many years it was on fox. i didn't like adam samberg from the skits i saw of him on snl (which, granted, weren't many, but i never found him funny), so it was already a -1 just knowing he was the main star of the show. then the promos that fox put together didn't make the show look good to me at all... so that was that. never bothered with it again. then came all the hullabaloo about its cancellation and i kept seeing post after post about how good of a show it was. at first, it was annoying, but then i was bored one night and caught an episode on tbs just to see what the fuss was about. it was the one where doug judy is holding hostages. i thought, "hmmm, not bad. let's see what this next one is like." what followed was me recording every single episode until i was caught up before the new season started on nbc last winter. shame on me (and on fox's promo team) for not watching from the beginning.

oh and rosa is hot 'n' all, but i'd walk through walls for santiago. she's the perfect blend of attractiveness, dorkiness, and the right kind of nerdy.

    Same here.

When I first saw the show's promos and TV commercials prior to the series premiere, I too had no interest in watching the show. I can't quite explain why now, but they somehow rubbed me the wrong way.

However, I eventually decided to watch the first few episodes anyway and the rest is history. :)

    My thoughts exactly!

After I saw the early episodes of "Homicide: Life on the Streets" I vowed to watch anything and everything Andre Braugher was ever in. He's why I started with "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and I am very glad I did. It is one of my all-time favorite comedies.

Now I know something else I will always watch: shows created by Michael Schur. "Parks and Rec," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," and "The Good Place" means that guy has a spot in my heart.

My wife and I are watching Parks and Rec. Started season six last night, after watching the season five gag reel and a 8 minute single take of guess star Patton Oswald filibustering a city council meeting by pitching a movie that brought together the Star Wars universe with the Marvel comics universe.

The DVD extras, esp. the deleted scenes, are often worth viewing. They leave some good stuff out of most episodes.

One of my favorite scenes for Captain Holt from past seasons was during the interrogation of the dentist. Can't imagine anyone else but Andre Braugher really selling a rant on how nobody cares about etymology.
