No intestion seriously!!! So Maradona had no intention to score his hand of god goal also?!! Ecuador legit goal was disallowed by the ref and Brazil benefitted from that and this hand goal stood so Brazil really can't complain But Ruidiaz cheated big time, he had clear intestion to hit the ball with his arm, I hope Conmembol suspend him for the next game or two due tothis...
http://www.lanacion.com.ar/1908137-brasil-peru-copa-america-2016-grupo-b I believe TV footave is allowed to punish players after if unsporting behaviour happened and the ref didn't cought it. as per Suarez ban So I belive a small reprimend to Ruidiaz should happen to deincourage other players to do the same, let's see what happens
Not lecturing, my first post was a reaction to this: "No intention either, so even though it was wrongly allowed, let us celebrate it. Its not like Ruidiaz intentionally wanted to cheat." I doubt even the most fervent Brazilian fan didn't admit that Tulio had intestion to handle the ball These days (an I used Suarez just as an example) video proof of a player worng doing is widely used for later punishement. I do believe this should be the case or else eveyone will try to play volleyballl if they can get away with it. It is just Karma we got lucky against Ecuador and paid against Peru, really don't care
Peru player with intentional tennis swing handball goal. Peru player should receive multi-game suspension.
One hour after it happened? We all know it takes some time for fans to be honest about their cheating players' ways. A month from now, all Peruvians will freely admit it. Plus, the Tulio handball was exponentially more brazen. The announcer called it the split second it happened. On the other hand, it took about 4 replays to catch Ruidiaz's.
After Ecuador's big win earlier, you might wonder if Brazil were content with snoozing their way through a 0-0 draw, so they would end up playing the US instead of Colombia in the next round. However, the Soccer Gods do not take kindly to that sort of thing, so....
Well, if you paid attention to the past week of the Copa, you would've noticed that Venezuela qualified ahead of/and knocking-out Uruguay. And, Peru did the same to Brazil. So yeah, Venezuela ahead of Uruguay and Peru ahead of Brazil are shocking surprises. By most books, Uruguay and Brazil were two of the favorites
Both teams played without their stars And if you pay attention brazil and uruguay without neymar and suarez are different teams. Its shocking how much these two teams depend on those 2 players. More so , than argentina dependency on Messi.
come on man. Everybody knows how important neymar is for brazil...more so if you take into consideration the lack of forwards in brazil.
How do you say "Sacked in the Morning" in Portuguese? Actually I do not think it would have mattered. My son was working on the numbers and said that due to goal differential, Ecuador was guaranteed to finish second no matter what happened. A 0-0 draw still would have put Brazil top of the group.
Neymar has done nothing for Brazil since our last match where we lost 2-1 in last years Copa America. Was shut down completely against Colombia in their 1-0 loss against los cafeteros and lost his head. When we lost 3-0 to Brazil a few months back, I thought Neymar was awful. in 3 matches, he managed 1 assist in a match they didn't even win. He's very influential for Brazil and by far their best player, but I haven't seen him do anything of note since we lost to them in last years Copa America.
