Awful clearance, 1-0 Moscardelli puts Chievo ahead.

What a terrible mistake by the Napoli defender and Chievo pounds it into the back of the net. 1-0

Nice strike. Bradley wasn't really involved except he hustled to get back into an on-side position after his near post run.

SWEET - got one working. Just in time to see the goal.

if Napoli 18 is isolated 1v1 w/ Bradley, he's going to beat him for speed. Bradley/Chievo lucky he didn't score there. he beat Bradley to get the shot off.

Zuniga just got the better of Bradley and shot wide.

That should have been worse due to the strange defensive spacing for Chievo, but Zuniga was wasteful.

Bradley beaten by that winger again and lucky not to give up something on target.

I don't know why he keeps ending up isolated out there, but it's not a good spot for him defensively.

Also, I notice that Chievo plays too vertically. A square ball here and there might open things up...

...just as I type that Bradley gets stranded with the ball, has it stripped, and his teammate has to bail them out with a prof foul.

It's interesting that in everything BUT football all Italians care about is la bella figura. In football the result is all that matters. By any means necessary.

I wonder how many Americans are at the match. The big US base at Vicenza is very nearby.

Chievo's last sub, not Mikey. Full 90 today for him.

Wow, what a strike. Great save by Napoli keeper. I think that was the same guy who scored the goal.

Wow-- defensive soccer here. Chievo had only 5 players up for that corner.

Nice. Hopefully the first of many.

From the thread it sounds like a bad game, but did Mikey look solid? Weird that he was defending quick guys on the wings... what position is he playing and in what formation?
