Was certainly a mistake to stay on a back 3 today. Should have reverted back to 4-2-3-1. Also Pulisic and Mount on the bench was a mistake. Hope their brought on early
I was really looking at this game to see if the tide has changed. Spurs result was good but this was the one which would tell us if we can be consistent. Doesn't look good so far.
Lessons I am taking are our fist 11 at full form can beat anybody, less than that and less than full desperate effort and we can't hardly score against teams that defend in numbers and can easily be had by anybody Also our firs 11 needs a better lb and we need a scorer off bench to compete with and/or play with Tammy
dire got it all wrong today, missed Kov a lot too, he really has become essential to controlling midfield
I had to pop out for a bit but, have we managed to get someone on the end of ONE cross or pass into the box?
Again a foul on Abraham, described as a 'stumble' by the commentary team and not given as a foul. That's about the tenth on him and other AM's this game.
did you not read this thread, everybody thinks we and Lamp got it wrong today, these games also show we really need a player or two, also we can't play the same 11 for 80 matches so gotta try different approaches, Lamp has not come up with a one for mid-leval lower bus-parkers yet
We've just lost about 2 mins there with 2 soton changes. I wonder if Moss will add them on to the end?
You can but at least you can see he is changing things. Alas, nothing is working but I am at least glad he isn't trying the exact same thing to get a different result. In games like these Hazard really made a difference for us. We don't have that luxury anymore. We also have to remember it is a learning experience for him as well.
If Frank wasn’t a former Chelsea Legend people would be calling for his head. If he wasn’t English and playing English players the media would have gone after him ages ago.
that is ********ing inane, he is in 4th with no transfers, after losing dozens of goals in Hazard, get a grip
