Well, I have never considered Marcelo a defender. His strength is going forward but in defense he is rather shaky. Bale on the other hand started off as a left back didn't he?

It would be criminal if we don't sign a young player Marcelo can mentor. He has such a positive attitude that I'm sure that his heir will probably play similar to him if we sign him young! Great player and an absolute legend.

I was wishing Marcelo would rediscover his shooting boots after the Bayern games and boy what a game to do it in. With his right foot no less! Great work from Morata too but damn nice cut in and placement with the right. More of his megacrack Marcelo!
I wish he would place his shot like he did today rather than blast them like he normally does. He gets opportunities every game but usually blasts his shots. Even today even he got it on his right foot I was thinking it will end up in the 15th row.
