can someone tell me anything about this guy... he's starting in the Eredivisie for Roda JC today as a CDM:

Ognjen Gnjatic (25 yrs old) played for BiH u21 when (IMO) they were at possibly their best (aside from the time when they u21 had Edin, Ibi, Salihovic, Ibricic, etc.)..... anyway, he was in the u21 team with Stevanovic, Visca, Djuric, Besic, Prcic, Grahovac, etc. but it looks like he got very little playing time in that u21 team (only 1 start apparently)

FK Željezničar pissed at Sakib Malkočević that Ahmed Hasanović - current top goalscorer in the U17 domestic league (15 goals) - didnt get called up.

Similar thing used to happened to Hadzic, was scoring bucket loads in the league but either wouldn't get called up or would be benched for the entire match when called up.

Not the first time too. Nedim Hadzic never got called up, as well as Stipe Juric who probably no one has ever even heard of but the kid was a top goal scorer either this year or last year for youth team of Siroki.

Feels like Sakib Malkočević and Toni Karačić have been our U17/U19 coaches forever...

Malkočević did get us to the U17 tournament once (though the generation was pretty talented as well) but Karačić however... Ugh.

Lets see if the same group of kids that qualified for the u17 tournament can get Karacic to the u19 Euros, would really cement their status as the best generation so far.

Is Sandi Hušić really worth calling up anymore? You know, playing in the 4rd German league and all. :cautious:

Yea probably not but you know when most of these kids have the same agent there is something suspect about these call-ups.

I would say Gojak for sure. He's head and shoulders above everyone else in his development.

I think a couple more could as well, but I in particular like these players. I do think that Ermedin Demirović and Benjamin Hadžić probably need to leave their club to increase their chances.

    U21

Amer Gojak (All ready called up to senior squad)
    Amir Hadžiahmetović
    Advan Kadušić
    Marko Mihojević

    U19
    Zinedin Mustedanagić
    Ermedin Demirović
    Benjamin Hadžić
    Nedim Hadžić

    U17
    Rijad Sadiku

The u19s beat the highly rated and favorite France by a score of 0-2. Goals by Demirovic & Cavar. Israel and Bulgaria are the two remaining matches, which should be much easier opponents, but hopefully we don't underestimate them.

Impressive. Let's hope the Bosnian mentality doesn't kick in and we underestimate the "lesser" opponents like usual.

Even though we won, France was dominating in the game. Especially down the right side, the crnci were killing us. The goalie stepped up, especially near the end.
