seems Pep is going to have to get some new players, cause this bunch are not good enough

so all 5 top leagues have reps in the QFs

only one team is currently out of the top 4 in their league

Agreed. City's FBs are Clichy and Sagna! lol

But still Pep's fault, he spent club's money on a GK he is not using, injury prone player Gundogan etc. the only useful player he bought is Sane.

And they would be the only English team left in Europe if Rostov (fingers crossed) can advance on Thursday.

Well he cost a bunch but Gabriel Jesus was pretty damn impressive before his injury, and Stones (even more costly) has been a fixture in D for them (no Umtiti though).

He's been a fixture alright. Kinda like a lamp post.

yep not worth the price tag at all

Sagna and Glichy are bench players at best for a top tier European team (or starters at Arsenal)

Another shipment of ad-hominems, non-sequiturs and massive amount of projections. You sound like a child whose lolipop was taken away! So maybe, it would be a wise idea to keep your "education" and advice to yourself, at least until the point you master Books instead of Power Points Presentations and at least small amount of objectivity!

Maybe then you will stop with Neymar Yellow card apologetics, which according to the Laws of the Game is a red card. As i said, your "education" on the matter is worth exactly like my morning dump. This is analogy - i suggest you google it.

You have actually played the troll card, amazing! Your nickname fits you perfectly.

    ----------

It seems Pep cannot manage without a mandatory red card and a penalty.

I dont recall a red card or a pk being required vs Man Utd in two finals (I do recall an offside goal by Rooney)

Janos, you have made your point. Whatever that is.

This is not a rivalry thread. If you want to discuss this further do it via PM or in another thread.

    Thank you.

Haha never seen anything more true. Gotta love it when the Cristiano fans keep whining about other players diving. Boy oh boy.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid - a match made in heaven. Both player and team have always been willing to cheat to gain an advantage.

Cristiano will be one of the better players of his generation (not an alltime great as typically only best players of every generation get that tag) but what he will be remembered for in history is his role promoting diving as an integral part of the game. And sadly, currently - diving is as integral a part of the game as is say heading.

I personally do feel Real Madrid does get decisions in their favor courtesy of referees but that should also be accepted as part of the game. Remember- the primary factor that facilitated this even is primarily the state of football which Cristiano perpetuated over the years - where a simple fall is not frowned upon and could even be a penalty. It gave Real Madrid another easy way to fix matches. Cant blame the referees to be honest - they really dont get paid enough to be judge and jury.

But that cant be used as an excuse for Barcelona's standing in the league. Barcelona has over the years won inspite of Real Madrid cheating - so the inability of Barcelona to top the league would need to be looked at as that could hit them in the champions league where they are bound to face better teams and their weaknesses could be exposed.

I like G.J but like I said, the only useful player is Sane since J.G didn't play the first half of the season and then he played few games and got injured.

As for Stones, he cost his team some games with his individual mistakes. I will judge him more next season as I think he has the potential to be a good defender.

    Edit: @janos audron
forgot about this troll janos lol Repeating always the same shit? Now people have to read books to know basic football rules like direct fouls? lol Are you stupid? Ok, can you post the book you have bought on football rules with spoon photo next to it? The whole direct fouls rules are a 1 or 2 pages long and can be found all over the net as it's meant to be for the public, not scholars lol so for the lulz post the book you have with spoon pics so to let everyone know you are not trolling.

Without reading it, he probably thought he could protect the defense simply by controlling possession the way he did at Barca and Bayern. That's definitely on him.

a preview of Barcelona's boring style next season.

Cologne with a good 4:2 win at home against Hertha Berlin to get back in the fight for a Europa League spot.

And RB Leipzig get blasted away to Werder Bremen, 3:0. :)

Naa man, only way LPB is venomous is bribing La Liga refs [emoji6] [emoji12] [emoji23]

Aduritz makes it 1-1 and game on. I predict a Sergio Ramos goal in 90th.

LOL Casemiro scores easiest goal in his career. 2-1. Go to bed pathetico.

Bilbao is chit. They are lucky to be down by only 2. They are not here to play but to kick opponent players.
