He did suit up for them in the past but apparently he wasn't signed to any legit deal, probably just on a trial basis. Nacional is a good squad but also very hard to make a first team on. If he or any of the others two that went to Chile make first teams it would be very impressive.
http://www.paginasiete.bo/campeones/2017/1/19/sub-20-antes-debut-sudamericano-124268.html South American U20 starts today for Bolivia, we play Perú. Again Gamarra is "injured" not available for the team. They were left by Hoyos in the middle of preparation for this important tournament, Soria took over 3 or 4 weeks ago. Anyone think we have a shot? I'm not too confident, but the last thing to die is hope, so, let the pains begin.
SUB 17| #Bolivia presenta la lista de convocados para el Sudamericano Sub-17. #VamosBolivia pic.twitter.com/zGS9l2Qxye— LA VERDE 🇧🇴 (@laverde_fbf) February 15, 2017 Official u-17 team. I see a kid from Barcelona, one from Orlando FC, and Boca on the roster. I haven't heard anything from any of this players. Anybody know anything. I know the tournament is coming up in Feb-March.
I have seen a couple of articles about the kid in Barca, he's born in Spain to Bolivian parents, has scored tons of goals before arriving to la Masia. Even though we have a few very good players as usual they don't work with the team for longer than a month. Bolivia had 4 friendlies, tied 1, lost 3. We played Paraguay twice in Bolivia, tied one. Peru in Peru where we lost both by blowouts. Sorry to say I'm not too optimistic.
News coming from La U in relation to Hoyos and Miranda. "Bruno Miranda y Valentín Castellanos, foráneos juveniles que también han sumado minutos, serán enviados a préstamo para ganar rodaje. Del resto de los menores, poco se ha sabido. Entrenan con el primer equipo, pero no aparecen regularmente en las citaciones." http://www.latercera.com/noticia/hoyos-extiende-poder-la-u/#
