Shitty defending. Pure garbage. How do you leave a guy wide open in the middle like that?

Our atrocious defense steps up to the plate. Tevez miss again will be costly.
Anyways to be fair, we are not good enough at this time to be in a Libertadores final.

These corners we're taking are a joke. It's like we're TRYING to gift them counters.

Well we just gifted it all to them. IDV didn't earn it. Just massive mistakes.

So... What do you bosteros think about tevez now? No decisive goals, no goals against river... And Orion? In addition to his violent conduct many posters on this board have denied, tonight he completely threw you guys in a bigger whole. Thoughts?

Tevez had the most goals on the team (5), what turned out to be the gamewinner against Bolivar, the equalizer against Cali that started the rout, the opening goal of both legs against Cerro Porteno. I mean he's definitely slipped this year, but he's not in vendehumo territory. He's also had some good assists when he's not scoring.

Never been terribly convinced by Orion, and his attitude isn't justified by his results. I've been hoping for someone else to grab the job for a while now.

What did you bring Tevez for? Why does he make 5 million dollars a year in a country where thats the equivalent of earning 30 million euros a year in europe? Look at Alario... We bought him from Santa Fe and no one knew who he was. He provides two assists in first leg of the semi, in the second leg he scores with a beautiful lob over the keeper. In the FINAL, he opens the scoring with a header Batistuta would have been proud of. Tevez? Nothing.

I've been following Boca Juniors since 1994 when I was 18.
That was the worst home effort I have witnessed.
Just absolute shit defending and even worse dead ball service.
The icing on the cake was around the 70th minute and the garra was not witnessed. Diaz maybe. But he's the f'n captain and should be of course. Everyone else just seemed to be content to get the game over with.
And it started off so well. The ideal start in a vuelta situation where your team is down a goal.
Los de Verde Nacional should be the eventual champion, but man does this up and coming Ecuadorian team seem to have a good dose of the Force with them. Who goes into una vuelta en La Bombanera, in a Cup Semi-Final, and wins 1-3? I guess a recently promoted Ecuadorian side does. FML!

On a serious note, do you notice how not only does he fuck up a lot, but it's always in the big games? That fuck up vs Liga de Quito left San Lorenzo out of the 2008 Libertadores... his error in Funes Mori's bombonerazo made Boca lose the Superclasico and created the start of River's historic run... his mistake last night wasn't technically decisive, but it sealed Boca's elimination. I could go on..

It's hilarious to me though... a lot of bosteros seem to forget all these things and for some reason consider him a top keeper. After the qualification to semis following the Nacional PK shootout, he was even labeled a "hero" and even compared to Cordoba and Pato Abbondanzieri. :D

Grande Orion... vos, cata, y gago son Boca papa

Yeah I'm a Boca fan but I try not to have blinders on, believe me. I really don't know what the others are seeing. I was about to say earlier that he's no Pato, so to hear that some are making the comparison makes me roll my eyes.

Well he did score 9 in 15 and won the double for us last year. But it's obviously not the most efficient use of money and I ultimately would have no problem if it were directed other ways that can produce wins. Maybe we can sell him to MLS if push comes to shove.

I hope the refs get better in the 2nd half. Not happy with their performance so far.

Agreed Pavon was very disappointing. Cardona basically carried the attack. If we didn't hit the woodwork twice it would've been a win.

Another masterpiece by Pavón. Tough match, they missed their chances to put it away and it almost cost them, but a win is a win in La Copa.
