Wood played 2nd half in a friendly yesterday. H96 were up 2:0 when he came on. Were up 2:0 at final whistle. Fullkrug continues to be the offensive machine.
little article saying Asano is beating Wood out for the striker spot next to Fullkrug. Wirbelwind Asano zieht an Wood vorbei - Japaner will seine zweite Chance nutzen #H96 https://t.co/GSBInDaCoW— Lattenkreuz (@lattenkreuz) August 15, 2018

Was not the best game for Wood to miss, but was pretty good for another H96 player... A "cinderella story." What a story! 👏 23-year-old Hendrik Weydandt has made headlines after scoring three goals in two matches for Hannover 96 since joining the club from the Regionalliga. #H96 #SVWH96 #Weydandt #Bundesliga👉 https://t.co/7UP3bqEBkL.— Bulinews.com – Bundesliga News (@bulinewsdotcom) August 26, 2018
you shouldn't be surprised German players aren't short. Usually one of the tallest teams in tournaments. Majority of strikers are in the 1.84-1.85m minimum range and goes up to plenty that are 1.90m and more, even a youth striker who's at 1.99m, lol.
Good point. But it seems that the shorter German strikers tend to be in the 1.87/1.88 range and that more n more of them are around 1.93/1.95 Not only that, but the really tall guys tend to actually be quality footballers. Why is that when we have 6'3/6/4 strikers they tend to be a Kenny Cooper or Nate Jaqua?
