So, I'm listening to Fat Alan Brazil. They're talking about Lichaj's goal. Some commentator asks what we're all thinking "He's a professional footballer, why doesn't he just go get a dog, if he want's a dog?" Brazil: "Well, he is an American......" Huh?
Can't just bring a dog home when you're married. You need the wife to agree first, or suffer several weeks of continuous nagging.
good point, never reallybothered to check when he came from Bmunch. English, eh. Still, i think the point stands, he was not kept on for being a english, but for winning, and when that stopped he also was fired
Here, I hear that the fella at Nottingham Forest that scored the goals that knocked Arsenal out of the cup was 'hero worshipped' after the game by the Forest fans..................they obviously don't realise he is a 'yank' or else instead of singing his name they would have been throwing eggs at him instead! Am I right or am I right!?? I mean beating Arsenal is one thing but it obviously becomes pointless when you realise that the damage was done by a damn Yank! I bet that's taken the 'polish' right off of Forests celebrations!
It's cost him several seasons being one of their best players to finally get the recognition he deserves.
Rubbish! Complete and utter rubbish, I can't believe (some) of you Americans, you seem to think that the world revolves around Americans, you actually believe that the fact he is American has ANY bearing on what Forest fans think! You are just deluded.
I don’t really follow the Premier League of Soccer. But how is The Swansea Swans doing on the field and also on their road games? Anybody heard?
Hawaiians say rubbish. So you’re kinda close...what league is Forest in these days? We don’t get them on teevee and we get a lot more soccer on teevee than the English.
I'm not sure that this has anything to do with the subject matter? Do tell what you are trying to say here exactly?
Nope, I don't think Bradley was rubbish because he is American, in fact I don't think I ever said he was simply 'rubbish' as a coach, he WAS however a massive failure at Swansea, I think you will find his results back this up no? Or perhaps I am wrong and he actually won all the games he had in charge did he?
Since when? I'm not a native Hawaiian, but I've spent many weeks on Maui (my uncle lives there), and I've never heard anyone use that word.
I don't get burned that bad. I have fallen a couple times racing my brother down Haleakela though. How's yours? Next you'll tell me "Poké" is pronounced like "poke". Or that there aren't Marine recruitment stations every 50 feet. EDIT: Hah, texted my uncle, who has lived there for 12 years now, and he says he's never heard it!
I joined to watch Arsenal almost qualify for the Europa League every year as they slowly decline over the next decade. What are you doing next Saturday, nothing?
