Will it still be subscribed once the team loses Jesulado to FC Porto and starts the season off 0 wins, 0 ties and 2 losses? :D ;)

Well, I for one do believe that Boavista will have a top 5 spot this season. They really did well in the transfer market, picking up Linz and probably the best pick up was not a player, but Jesualdo Ferreira. The defense may need to be shored up, but overall I feel that they can snag a UEFA Cup spot for 2007/08...

These press rumours about Jesualdo wanting to leave and Loureiro pondering is leaving me worried. Only this coach is capable of putting us back on the top again. :(

It's official. Jesualdo is out to FC Porto. I just hope we'll benefit for real with this deal.

According to Boavista site, Jesualdo insisted to leave. ******** him. Like we say in Portugal: "É um homem sem palavra."

Pedro Barny, was now promoted from assistant manager to our leading coach. Ouch.

What's this I hear on Maisfutebol about aggressions towards journalists?

Also, I wouldn't be too sure he's going to Porto. Just a hunch.

Some idiots sent a reporter to the hospital, seriously injured. I suppose they were blaming the media because of the "false rumours". Only if they knew...

Doesn't matter his destiny, unless he comes up with a great reason, I want him to suck big.

    Boavista lost 3 - 0 against Palermo.

According to A Bola, the axadrezados started very well but an individual mistake of Mário Silva and other defenders allowed the italians to win it.
The italian referee is also criticized by wrongly disallowing a goal of Lucas and allowing a ilegal goal for the italians besides alot of other bizarre things...

Wow, why don't they just say, "Sorry guys... we f'ed up... kinda big..."

How do you go from Jesualdo to some random coach who has no real experience as a head coach?

I think the green lizard hunting season just started.
    Time to hunt some lagarto/estarola.:D

With any luck, Jesualdo with loose a bunch of games with the Andrades, and get the boot before the season is half finished......."poetic justice".

Hi. Polish players who joined Boavista during this summer: Przemyslaw Kazmierczak and Rafal Grzelak played in this game in starting line-up. Can anyone tell me something about how they performed?

Both players did good in the first half but in the second the all team got nulified by Sporting.

Kaz was rather impressive at any physical challenge and he's not bad with his feet too.

Grzelak has a good left foot and it was pleasant to see him cross whenever he had the chance.

A positive note is that both got agressive tackles but never complained. They're brave. ;)

Unfortunately it was around 4,000. Quite pathetic, considering their numbers have been much higher in the past.

yeah....i'm afraid we're not quite up there in the same league, attendance wise, 'greenback' wise, as the three 'estarolas'.....still, BFC has, for much of the past decade, provided the only real alternative in the pork n' cheese league:cool:

I haven't seen the team play with Petrovic, our new coach. Against Sporting it was the assistant manager...so let's see.

But it was a pleasant surprise...I can see us fighting for a Uefa spot. :)
