Buddy, I am not taking sides, when it comes to South America, I DO NOT take sides, I just state my opinion as I see it . From what I saw last year, Blas Perez and Juan Manuel Martinez where the 2 best players in Coppa Libertadores. Mcnelly Torres is a very good player as well, but I think those 2 guys are a lil better than him. I think that Blas Perez and Juan Martinez can make it in Europe, where's Mcnelly Torres has to take his chances. As for Riquelme, he is the best player in South America,no discussion, but last year, Blas Perez and Juan Martinez did more with a much smaller team than Riquelme with Boca, and dont forget , from what I saw, Boca stole that match in the Argentina against Cucuta.
Since you put it that way, what did Mcnelly Torres do without Blas Perez ?!
He got eleminated ! Those kinda of arguments never work!
As I wrote, Mcnelly is a very good player, as is Lionard Pajoy, and Cucuta had a few other quality players, like DelCastillo, or Bustos, or Hurtado, all players that should have played for Colombia i think.

By the way, who is Diego Cabrera ?!!!!

diego cabrera is cucutas new striker from boliva and 10000000000x better than blas... he scored 15 his 1st season

Cucuta lost cause thye couldnt see in that stadium they should have never even played that game

who is Juan Manuel Martinez??? the argie that played for cucuta?? he went to arabia or something like that. He also wasnt that good he got that hat trick 1 game and that is about it. Look at Blas goals and they were all Macnelly made. Every good striker needs a nasty midfielder and Cucuta is Macnelly + 10 thats why they wont let him leave for cheap

Ay Crzd! Im not even a Cucta fan but to say Blas is no good is blasphemy! Do you not remember the two goals he scored against Boca? yes they were both excellent passes from Big Mac but Blas had the skill and ability to put them away with pure class. Only time will tell if Cabrera can do the same that Blas did...I think Blas was 2nd or 3rd in Goal scoring the last CL no?

Clearly, you will not convince me, and I am not trying to convince you. As I mentioned before, Mcnally while a very good player.., still seems a bit unproven to me, while Martinez and Blas Perez seem like quality players.
Anyhow, when Cucuta play Santos on Feb 14, I will let you know what I think about Diego Cabrera.
    Till then ! :D
Lets hope Mcnally can win it all !
    :)

Even though i dont really like Blas , i have to admit he is a beast on the pitch. and El Burrito martinez destroyed Toluca when they won by 5. Pajoy got into some wierd S***, he passed one test and failed another. dont know whats goin on with that. and i want to c more of Alex del Castillo, he was a beast sumtimes too??

    Re: Blas Perez a tigres

ya i think so, he is real tall, and the good thing about him, that most tall players are limited to playing the ball on the ground, but not with him he does good both on the ground and air.

plus i find it interesting that his fellow panameno national team partner felipe baloy, plays the hated rival of tigres from the same city, MOnterrey rayados, so when the clasico comes , it'll be interesting seeing baloy covering perez

Yea but he is playing in Mexico 2nd division?

Will Junior own him? I not really comfortable with players that we don't own even a part of, or a right to buy. I feel many colombian teams get f'd over with those deals. Especially Cucuta when they were a top squad under Pinto/Bernal
