Oxlade-Chamberlain was replaced by Adam Lallana and was later pictured hobbling around on crutches as Liverpool celebrated their victory at Doha’s Khalifa International Stadium. ‘When he landed he got a kick and rolled over on his ankle,’ Klopp said following Liverpool’s victory. ‘He feels okay, but far away from being perfect.

The German also confirmed three other injured players - midfielder Fabinho and defenders Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip - will also not play again this year.

 

no doubt all 4 stars are so important for the rest of the season, but no need to risk them.

the available players are able to mange the next 2 games and win both of them.

He did. Jones looks nailed on to make the step up , same for Harvey E .Really they all looked decent and I would think Klopp wouldn't hesitate to use any of them should the need arise.

 

Williams and Larouci look damn good too.

Its good to see the players starting to come back now following their injuries. First Ox and now Fabinho and Shaq. That was a withering period of football thru Dec with so many important matches to play and so many out but we've come thru it .The team morale must be sky high.

 

Odd that there’s been no further word on Millie. Should have been diagnosed by now.
