I sit corrected. as should the bbc who don't show any game fr us on Sat. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/teams/liverpool
if it keeps raining in Qatar, it'll be risky playing anyone, esp someone with a recent problem like Gini.
headline news ... Virgil is NOT injured. ( for anyone who thought he might be) https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...ews/virgil-van-dijk-misses-liverpool-17429687
Oxlade-Chamberlain was replaced by Adam Lallana and was later pictured hobbling around on crutches as Liverpool celebrated their victory at Doha’s Khalifa International Stadium. ‘When he landed he got a kick and rolled over on his ankle,’ Klopp said following Liverpool’s victory. ‘He feels okay, but far away from being perfect. ‘We will have to see if the ligament is just stretched or ruptured. ‘A big shadow but that’s how it is in contact sport. He seems to be okay.’
Ox to miss at least 2 games. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50901736 Klopp said there was "no chance" Oxlade-Chamberlain could make Thursday's match at the King Power Stadium (20:00 GMT kick-off). Liverpool then host Wolves on Sunday (16:30) in what will be their ninth game of a packed December. The German also confirmed three other injured players - midfielder Fabinho and defenders Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip - will also not play again this year.
no doubt all 4 stars are so important for the rest of the season, but no need to risk them. the available players are able to mange the next 2 games and win both of them.
Fabinho is back in training https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...binho-mystery-hard-explain-liverpool-17512094 Fabinho remains on course for a return before the end of the month. Great news.
so of course we immediately lose another midfielder. jeez ... club post-game update - nothing to learn from it though https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/381436-james-milner-injury-update
He did. Jones looks nailed on to make the step up , same for Harvey E .Really they all looked decent and I would think Klopp wouldn't hesitate to use any of them should the need arise.
Williams and Larouci look damn good too. whoever we get drawn with in the 4th round tomorrow - play the same team Jurgen !
Jurgen Klopp is set to be handed a timely injury boost with Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho expected to return to training ahead of the trip to Tottenham. https://www.thisisanfield.com/2020/...an-shaqiri-will-return-to-training-this-week/
Its good to see the players starting to come back now following their injuries. First Ox and now Fabinho and Shaq. That was a withering period of football thru Dec with so many important matches to play and so many out but we've come thru it .The team morale must be sky high.
