The one game of the season you really have to win. Schalke are terrible this season but they'll go beyond the limit against us, of course. Their goalie Nübel also seems to be very talented and one of the few positive aspects of their season.
This is a game where you need physicality in midfield and in defense and I hope Weigl isn't a weakness in that regard.

1:0 Götze but that pass by Sancho was a thing of beauty, especially for such a young player.

Looks like a bs penalty against us. Ball to hand from a super short distance.

We have somehow conceded twice to a team which only scores from pens and setpieces, from those exact situations.

Sancho got hit by a lighter from the blue scum which disrupted how well we were playing.

Felix Zwayer is such a garbage referee. Some dickhead fan (S04 fans were denied entry because they wouldn't let themselves be searched) tossed a lighter that his Sancho in the eye. Not only was that not a handball, we should have got the advantage at that point.

Good thing Sancho is OK, those dribbles are absolute filth. Need a striker to finish those chances.

That defence has been terrible. Delaney is useless as expected. That second concession was weak af.

1:3 now. Very hard red because it wasn't a tackle with full force and Reus pulled a bit back. But Reus wasn't doing us any favor with such a challenge. But the ref was goddamn awful today. Burgstaller was begging to get carded twice before that and walked away with nothing.

Ok and now Wolf sees the next red for the same challenge. That was just stupid.

I hate to say this but you can see why Delaney is given starts in these games even though he is useless in attack. The red cards were given for reckless tackles once our midfield started to get overrun. Reus shouldnt have to make a tackle from behind and risk a red.

Reus and Wolf will be suspended too.

As a captain that tackle was unacceptable by reus. Completely idiotic and cost dortmund the game imo

Those tackles aren't reds. If so then we would have played a lot of games with one or two man advantages.

Game ends 2:4. It started so well, everything was under control and then a stupid penalty changed the whole game. Zwayer's performance was criminal but it's a bit of a mystery how the team lost the plot completely. So many mistakes in the first half already even before the game turned around. The team looked clueless. Only Sancho was a bright spot, best player in the first half by a mile. And then the red cards destroyed the whole game when everything was still possible.

What a game to very likely lose your chance to win the title. Management can and should already be planning for the next season.

If we have absolutely nobody lined up for the number 8 spot next season then I'd bring in Gundogan as a stop gap. I'd rather have him play next to Witsel than Delaney.

Not giving Mo a chance to develop is a terrible sign from our club.

The referee was a joke, but we produced almost no chances today. Hope at least the club will plan the next season without LF. This man is clueless when it really matters (also Bayern, Tottenham and Bremen). There's lack of intensity in most of our games, and never a plan B!

Dude you almost never post unless it is to shade LF, is there a reason? Is there a better coach available. Dont want to burst your bubble but getting rid of 4 coach in 2 years is Schalke levels of stupidity. They pay millions for each short term hire that fcks up.

Taking Delaney off for Alcacer backfired today because Weigl was totally out of it and needed more not less help, if Toprak played the way Weigl did he would get chewed out.

If there are better coaches available, I don't know, but there are dozens of better coaches out there. It happens that the choice you make don't turn right, one have to try more. I think I have said enough about him

Lmao if you dont know whos available but you want to sack LF, then what call Stöger until Klopp Pep Pochettino Tuchel Nagelsmann wants to join us? Changing coaches is not like breaking up with a gf or bf, the team will not coach itself while you wait for Margot Robbie to call.
