********ers. How many lives will be lost because of such cowardice?

At least the president will be presented with two options other than 'Stay the Course.' Neither involves victory - which ain't gonna happen anyway.

And the cowards do at least present some common sense items:

Well, duh. Of course, this will mean an official end to the merry band of idealistic neocons who want to remake the world in their warped image - at the end of a gun barrel. So, Bill Kristol. here's where you get pushed under the bus.

Maybe, there's some six-party talks Condi could mediate.

The USA in 2006; where drafts represent the truth, and the published, final work represent the poilitics.

Its just as well the Baker Coward Commission report comes out soon because democracy in Iraq is all but dead. The Shiites pushed through a poisen pill bill on devolving Iraq into a confederacy.

The more palatable of the two choices for the White House, "Stability First," argues that the military should focus on stabilizing Baghdad

Good friggin God. Shouldn't the stabilization of the capital have been the focus from the day we hit the ground.

In the US? I'd have to look. Point is, when a civilization has the truth, but prefers to tell official lies to itself, it's in danger.

They were too busy making plans to protect the troops from injuries received by thrown flowers.
