Sinyard takes responsibility and apologises to Café Roubaix owner http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/sinyard-takes-responsibility-and-apologises-to-cafe-roubaix-owner
Good. This was taking on a life of its own over at Bike Forums. Everyone could go back to doing what they do now.
Surprised at how slow to react they were to the obscene amount of bad press. Of course, everyone thinks that Sinyard is up there just waiting to jump at people, when in reality, it's the law firm they hired (not always without good intent) that jumps on this stuff.
What amazed me is that it really was just grass roots bad mouthing of the product. In today's cycling climate, that holds a lot of weight.
It's that type of community. So many communities, so many varieties, so many small companies/shops, and yet the internet makes it unite pretty damn quickly.
