Ok, here is how it will work.

I have created a Classic League called "BSR Invitational". To sign up for the tournament, all you have to do is join this league prior to the deadline of Friday, March 27th (start of week 4).

Teams will be seeded based on total points accumulated through week 4 (March 30th).

Play-in round (if needed) will begin week 5.

Group round will being week 6.

To enter your team in the tournament, click here: JOIN
or go to your team page and join the Classic League and enter the code: 3650-4582

    Last call!

The deadline was set for today, so that seeds can be based on point totals for the season after week 4.

I really hoped we would have more than eight teams. Don't make me beg! :D

Wow, what a double-whammy for me this week.

First, I cut that unproductive player (Lamar Neagle) and replaced him with a player-of-the-week winner wo has played every minute so far this season (Benoit Cheyrou). Neagle goes on to score 2 goals, and Cheyrou doesn't even play.

To make it worse, Cheyrou gets auto-subbed out, and his replacement is Rafael Ramos and his -4. Auto-sub is not supposed to cost me points! Those 4 points cost me the game (lost by 3).

I know you have all been waiting with baited breath to discover the winner of this prestigious event. So without further ado...

Week 16 Results posted in the Final Four page.

Congratulations to WashingtonRedskinsFC, defeating SamSam in both legs by 4 points each, for an aggregate total of 95:87.

I scheduled a bye week for Week 15 because there were only 4 MLS games on the schedule (this was before the CHI - NE game was moved to make it 5).

Ironically, both finalists had higher scores in Week 15 than they did in Week 16. However, it did not change the outcome, as WRFC would have been victorious in Week 15 as well (64:47).

Thanks to everyone who signed up.
