Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed I've entered predictions and hit Submit. Anything else to be done? BTW... I'm currently in 1st place... I kick ass.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Looks cool, maybe add some color to it. Once you've submitted your scores, it doesn't appear that you can edit it, and if you click on submit it says "Please provide at least one new prediction".
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Looks pretty cool. Like profiled said, would be nice to have an edit option.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Wait... I'm unranked - you cheating bastard Pretty cool Huss. Nice job.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Of course there would have to be a time limit on the edit - so that you couldn't be able to cheat and change your prediction during or after the game. Also, what leagues/countries would this feature be applied to? Nice job though.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Maybe a thing that pops up and says you're done/entered/good to go/good luck? I like it....it's fun. Look out Crimson Ace, I'm fixin to knock you out of pole position.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Under the "More Predictions" section, clicking on the games doesn't seem to have any functionality (i'm using Chrome).
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Same result, Chrome on Mac. I did get ranked #1, though. Where's my orange slices?
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Good stuff. I can see much fun to be had with this, hope it will include other leagues and the WC. Agree with this. Including the takedown of CA.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed I tried to enter my picks and was told i need to enter at least one new predicition. Don't know what that means, there are only so many realistic scorelines.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed This doesn't happen every time but... In the prediction statistics box at the bottom, if I click on any of the links it takes me to Wolves vs Bolton in Firefox on XP or does nothing in IE. If I click the Next or Back buttons in that box, it stays on the same match (either West Ham vs Man United if I didn't click on any of the match links or Wolves vs Bolton if I did). After refreshing a couple of times it started working again, but it's odd that it was having similar problems across 2 different browsers.
Re: Mod & Admin Beta Testers Needed Nice idea. We've had a league running on I Know The Score, the Premier League's official version of this kind of game on the Manchester United board the past couple of seasons and it's been pretty popular. I'd imagine this would be too/could take over from that. As has already been said, fixtures from different countries would be cool. I'm tempted to say the ability to organise private leagues or groups would be as well on one hand, similar to BigSoccer social/supporters groups. On the other hand, it kind of goes against some of what was said on the state of forum poll discussion thread, trying to encourage interaction from fans of different teams. Bit torn on that. If we did have more countries fixtures to choose from, and could set up groups/leagues, then opting out of certain nation's fixtures to pick from for these leagues would be handy. What's the points system? Can't see an explanation. All round, me likes.
I put numbers in all the prediction boxes and hit submit. ==> Your predictions could not be saved for the following reasons: - Please provide at least one new prediction. OK
I think these things are obvious, hopefully they are in the works: - Need to get confirmation pop-up that your selections have been submitted - Need to be able to click to a fuller list of Best Predictors results - Need to be able to see my previous weeks' picks & the results - Need to see deadline for making picks That's all I can think of for now.
Looks good. I don't know how I missed this... Comments: Needs to have an explanation of how the points are scored PR is picked right, I assume. PC I think would be better (and fun for some banter) The matches listed under "More Predictions" should be in the same order as matches above. The "Best Predictors" should be in the form of a scroll, IMO, rather than a page flip. Also, if possible, use arrows to indicate if somebody is going up, down, or hold in the same spot.
^ It also allowed me to cheat and edit the score once Portsmouth had scored their second. ^ Not sure if it will count, but it allowed it at the time. Edit: In fact, it's still allowing me to change the scores on all of today's games.
