What a way to win the 10th! Toluca I thought controlled the first half, the second half tilted more towards Santos with Talavera saving the game. Extra time was even with both teams sloppy and tired. Then, wow, Sinha ready to be the goat and Talavera saving him with some help from choking Santos.

Man, exciting game, I was screaming at the TV and on the edge of my lazy-boy all day.

Toluca! Champions! Chivas, Toluca, America, three best teams in terms of championships overall in Mexican league history!

jesus that was soooo painful to go through, i def cried once or twice. santos outplayed us in the 120 minutes, but hey, ill take it.

talavera is god. <3 i really hope they loan him to a team for 1 or two seasons and comes back as our goalie for the future when cristante leaves. and we'll def get a ton of money for him.

just unbelievable. im still in complete shock how we actually pulled this off. thankk you god.

    CAMPEONESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

After Mancilla missed i lost hope. Talavera came up really big for us. I think it would be unfair to bench him for Cristante. I hope Cristante pulls a Rios and retires to leave Talavera the spot.

Si siente mejor una final sufrida que una facil.

ughhhhhhh just thinking about our GK situation makes me want to puke. my idea of transferring him for a season or two might give him the wrong impression. and there is no way cristante should be on the bench, he'd def be my starter. and having talavera on the bench would just be bad. really hope toluca wins another title next season so cristante can really think about retiring on top. we'll just have to wait and see what happens

Congratulations Toluca! and this must have been bad news for Valdimir Marin who yesterday was champion and today he is told he will no longer stay with the team since he was only on loan and Toluca is not going to buy him

Marin wasnt any good. He hustled but that was it. I didnt like him coming in just to try shooting from anywhere, only to blast the ball into the stands.

yeah, Marin was always good for shooting from distance over the goal. he did work hard and run hard, but he's easily replaceable with an upgrade.
