    Seydou Doumbia.

Not joking! He is on fire! Watch a couple of his games and his vision, positioning, speed, acceleration, dribbling, finishing, intelligence, understanding, movement of the ball and so forth is top class. The most complete player I have seen play as an out and out striker this season.

It's no coincidence he is leading the Champions League topscorer list and has been the league topscorer for 3 seasons running. (Scored 8 goals in his last 3 games BTW).

rvp not only a good scorer but also one of the best players, technical and good view of the game.

He had some easy goals today but yeah, RVP certainly is in a great run of form. If he can keep injury free he should have a monster season.

I smell anti-German bias, maybe just ignorance.

    The latter I think.

Anyway, such a subjective question. I really only think you can determine who the best striker is for a particular league, not the world as a whole.

Oh and btw, the poll is a total fail, not just because of Mario Gomez missing...

Wonder why the poll starter wants to portray himself as a clueless ignorant?

At the moment I think Van Persie is the best striker - if you dont count Messi or Ronaldo as strikers of course. I think Ibrahimovic is a very allround striker or forward too...

Somebody please close this thread. The creator has already stated that he likes to troll. Good idea for a poll, but should be organized better.

There should be some different options I agree. Also are CRonaldo and Messi not considered strikers?

Just busting balls. :p Gomez is currently one of the best finishers easily and hes German. Though most follow their fathers nationality for obvious reasons.

Well his father is an immigrant to Germany and I think also a German national by now. Not unlikely he is for Germany too, given that he comes from Catalonia, who have no own national team...poor guys...:(
