Best player of the World Cup 2014

Discussion in 'World Cup 2014: General' started by feyenoordsoccerfan, Jun 25, 2014.

  1. Funny enough there is no thread about this (unless I missed it:oops:).

So here I go to kick off.
My choice as far as the tournement has progressed my vote goes to Robben.

Too many good performances early in the tournament.
I'll pick my 'best player' when we are at the semi finals.

Hoping I can still vote for Robben by then

If this your top players then you should change the title to best attackers of the world cup.
As always the attack gets the credits :S

    James Rodríguez.

Involved in 8 of Colombia's 9 goals. 3 goals and 2 assists, he's also the guy who has passed the ball to someone who assists the goal scorer. Thus heavily involved in the 3 other goals.

He's contributed more than any other player so far.

To create is always much more difficult than to destroy. For a defender to be considered the best player, he must be one of a kind.

Mods, can we have a poll at the top of the trhead with maybe ten or twelve players?

Robben, James, Messi, Valbuena, Shaquiri should be in the list.

    The best player is....

    L. Suarez, he is really hungry lol

I think Argentina is actually not playing well, Messi is carrying them so my vote for eligible players is for Messi, will be interesting to see if he can carry Argentina to the final

Hell if we make it far enough to face Brazil/Chile, they WILL remember him. Brazil vs Colombia is the most hyped match-up before the semi-finals at the moment from what people want to see.

Given the quality of play so far, I would rather see Chile-Colombia.
