barcelona members voted last year to aprove sponsorship on the jersey. its worth about €4million a year to barcelona to have a sponsors logo on the shirt. money talks.

Barcelona need the money and it's why they have agreed to it, I mean it's something like £80 million in debt, not look promosing.

How do those softball unis that Arse wears even get in the poll, much less get votes? And where are those wrestling siglets that Cameroon was going to wear at the last WC? Those were awesome.

Don't give up the day job...

Aside from Rangers and Northern Ireland, who produce fantastic kits every couple of seasons, the winner of this particular award should be Velez Sarsfield. Touch of class.

:) Best soccer uniforms have got be Glasgow Celtic and Nottingham Forest, just for the sheer number of teams that have copied them, including Arsenal in NFFC's case. And no team shirt inspires more passion than Celtic, among both friends and enemies. Some of the J-league uni's, like Jubilo Iwata, could become classics but that takes time.
P.S Juventus got the Black/White stripes from Notts County, not Newcastle United.

Uhh...Arsenal got their kits from Forest players that joined them when they first started. It's not like Dial Square/Woolwich Arsenal set out to deliberately copy them. And Herbert Chapman did come up with the idea for white sleeves on his own.

I agree about Forest's and Celtic kits. My personal recent favourite is the Nike Tampa Bay Mutiny kit. Now if only I could get one...

    Hello IrishQuake

Actually, the Celtic Superstore is currently running sales on last year's home jerseys in sizes from S to XXXL. I don't know what size you are but one of those should cover it. This year's Away and 3rd jerseys are available, too.

Hoping this will help to alleviate your pain when the Thunder eliminate the Quakes from the Open Cup :D, I remain

    That little old jersey collector
