Missed this game. Moutinho injured while Bernardo started and then was replaced by Boschilia (77'). Fabinho (6 goals this season) did not take a penalty and Monaco actually scored through Falcao (6 goals this season), Bernardo (5 goals this season) with a great assist to Mbappe (1st goal this season) for the second. Jemerson (first of the season), Germain (6th of the season), Lemar (5th of the season) and Adama Troare (1st of the season) with the sixth and final goal. With all these players getting goals regularly this season it is the opposite of last year when Monaco struggled to score and were frankly dire to watch at many times.

Moutinho is injured while Bernardo started and was replaced by Boschilia 77' (Bernardo was ok I guess).

Glik scored again (what a buy, the defender has scored 4 in 18 games this season), after the Saint-Etienne equaliser, their keeper Ruffier had some very good saves from Fabinho, Mbappe and Boschilia.

Bernardo started, finished and had a good game against average opposition. Although he should of pulled the trigger earlier and scored in what would have been a memorable goal (defense was bad throughout though) in the first half of the game. Moutinho is still injured (missing the Portugal vs Latvia game too). Falcao should of had a hatrick as well.

Monaco are unbeaten group leaders with 8 points (2 wins & 2 draws), two ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and 4 in front of Tottenham Hotspur who they only have to draw at home with to guarantee qualification (22 November). Their last game is against Bayer Leverkusen away (7 December).

Bernardo (maybe 6.5/10) started and was replaced by Jean at '80, who was fouled in the 90' inside the box which Fabinho converted. Moutinho is still injured. Falcao got another brace as did Carrillo (his second of the year) against the newly promoted side Nancy. Monaco are in second with PSG third (same points, 26) and Nice still lead by 3 (29 points).

Bernardo did not leave the bench. Ronaldo could of had 4 or 5. Carvalho scored for the first time for Portugal. Quaresma's crossing was World Class!

    F.C. Lorient 0 A.S. Monaco (Falcao 64', Lemar 67', Boschilia 93') 3

Bernardo started and was then again replaced 89' by Boschlia who also scored again through a deflected free kick in injury time. Earlier on Lemar had hit the post with Bernardo's follow up shot being weak and straight at the keeper. After Mbappe 63' was replaced by Falcao, Bernardo was involved in the first goal after Sidibe's return ball to Bernardo was cut out but it fell to Falcao to slot the ball in. Lemar returned to the fore a few minutes later to perfectly place a direct free kick (Lemar will be sold for plenty). Bernardo, then burst down the flank and gave Falcao a great pass but Falcao shot at the keeper. The third already mentioned finished proceedings. Monaco play Tottenham tomorrow (22/11/2016) at home in the CL.

Bernardo looked awesome again against Marseille yesterday, with an incredible play to get an assist for Germain. He's still in my opinion the best Portuguese player not named Ronaldo.

Champions League, Game 5, Tuesday 22 October, Stade Louis II

    A.S. Monaco (Sidibé 48', Lemar 53') 2 Tottenham Hotspurs F.C. (Kane 52 P) 1

    [Mirror Game see names/numbers]

Bernardo started and finished while Moutinho replace game winner Lemar at 81'. After a early chance in which Son should of scored, Fabinho was leveled by Dier and Falcao stepped up to miss, the penalty (Fabinho has scored his last 17). Later on a Bernardo's sumptuous overhead ball found Germain but the angle was tight and it went narrowly wide across the goal. Just after the break Bernardo pulls the strings, passes to Mendy to cross and Sidibé to header home unmarked. Glik, 4 minutes later gives away a soft penalty which Kane just converts. Monaco then catch out Spurs only 2 minutes later, Bernardo to Sidibé who crosses just over Falcao but perfectly for Lemar to thump it home. Still enough time for Bernardo to go on a trademark run but the shot is neither placed well enough nor has sufficient power. And lastly Bernardo does a chip for Falcao to run on to and he really should score but doesn't (the worst player for Monaco in this game). No goal, no assists but undeservingly so.

    A.S. Monaco (Boschilia 23', Germain 29', 39', Carrillo 91')
    Olympique de Marseille 0

Bernardo started, replaced at 79' by Dirar (back from injury) and Moutinho replaced Brazilian Boschilia (who is scoring regularly) on 62' minutes. Bernardo had a early tester before Boschilia crafted a a beautiful free kick to start the rout. Bernardo then left a defender for dead followed by a Quaresma travela on Germain's head and that was 2-0. Germain then added his second when the chance looked to have gone (great curl), thats 5 in 5 games. Lastly Carrillo scored for his fifth in 10 games, whereas last year he only scored 4 in 31 games and must of hit the post/bar about 5 or 6 times at least (glad for him). Nice drew so now both Monaco and P.S.G. are only one point behind. Monaco play Dijon away tomorrow in Ligue 1 at 20:00 (PT).

Both Bernardo and Moutinho both started and finished the game. Carrillo, the Argentinian (not Italian as declared by the commentator) scored early on. However, Monaco just stopped playing and Dijon got a well deserved equalizer at the end. Bad to average game from all the Monaco players with only maybe the goalscorer Carrillo and Glik saved from criticism.

    A.S. Monaco 5 (Mbappe 10', Lemar 66', Falcao 68' & 73', Carrillo 79')
    S.C. Bastia 0

Bernardo started and was replaced by Dirar (back from injury) at 74'. Moutinho stayed on the bench. Bernardo had a 1-1 with the GK that is not shown he went around the GK but the defender who had made the mistake to let him in, surprised Bernardo by his rapid retreat and the opportunity went amiss. Bernardo needed that goal for confidence it has been a while since he scored and it showed somewhat in his performance until his replacement.

Mbappe (17 years old, he will go for over 30M) finished off after a good Falcao header for the first. Lemar then scored a goal (Falcao's second assist) that I can watch time after time, sooo much class, (30-40M maybe more). After 2 assists Falcao scored twice, the second one from a stunning first time cross from Lemar. Carrillo then scored just after he came on, which he has a habit of doing, super-sub.

Champions League, Game 6, Wednesday 7 December, BayArena Leverkusen.

    Bayer 04 Leverkusen F. GmbH 3 (Yurchenko 30', Brandt 48', De Sanctis 82 o.g)
    A.S. Monaco 0

Moutinho started and finished. Monaco had already qualified in top spot so a ring of changes were made, Bernardo, Mbappe and Falcao rested, Germain, Mendy, Lemar and Bakayoko on the bench as well as the No. 2 in goal, De Sanctis.

Jean (I think) had a plausible penalty appeal for Monaco before Yurchenko let rip from distance on 30 minutes for 1-0. Brandt then secures a second just after the break. Jean a few minutes later hits the post after good work by Moutinho and so prevents a comeback, for after 82 minutes Diallo brings down Kruse and Wendell takes the spot kick. It hits the crossbar, comes down, hits De Sanctis, on his back, 3-0. De Sanctis does manage a wry smile a while later.

Maybe his best half (first half) of the season, had two assists (if you included the penalty he got Falcao which he converted). Should of scored in the first half though, that would of been the cherry :inlove::laugh:. Needs to be a bit more clinical.

    Girondins de Bordeaux 0
    A.S. Monaco 4 (Sidibé 2', Falcao 5', 50' & 64')

Bernardo started and was replaced by Mbappe 82' while Moutinho replaced Germain from the bench at 85'. Fabinho and Silva set up Sidibé for the first, while Silva spearheaded the attack for the second which Falcao scored from a GK frango (assist Germain). Lemar with another great cross field ball found Germain who picked out Falcao to round the keeper for 3-0 (two assists and goals respectively). Lastly, Silva was hauled to the ground in an act of frustration, Falcao took the penalty and made his first hatrick in 4 years (for Atletico). Silva might be hidden from the spotlight by Falcao but he had a devastating affect on Bordeaux especially in the first half.

Moutinho started, assisted Mbappe on his third goal and finished, Bernardo was rested for todays game (19:45) against Lyon. Mbappe hatrick, remember the name (it will be getting around soon). Boschilia, keeps on scoring (2 today as starter) within minimal minutes in general so far, very impressive. Jean, also scored and we will probably see more of maybe more so next year after some end of the year sales.

    A.S. Monaco 1 (Bakayoko 70')
    Olympique Lyonnais 3 (Ghezzal 29', Valbuena 65', Lacazette 87')

Bernardo started and finished while Moutinho stayed on the bench. Bernardo started well with what should of been a assist to Mendy. Ghezzal's goal looked a bit easy but what made it even easier for Lyon was Mendy not Mending his earlier miss and thus was not Handy (i.e. straight red for a 100% non-accidental kick on Fekir). 1-0 down and down to 10, Monaco tried to sustain but even the arguably just Lacazette miss from the spot only delayed the second from Valbuena. Bakayoko dragged one back but in looking for tie, Monaco conceded a third from Lacazette who atoned for the penalty miss. Lyon is Monaco's bogie team and we still have to face them away (6-1 last time).

Did not watch this game. Bernardo started and was replaced by Dirar 71' while Moutinho did not make the bench. Moutinho is at the end of his contract and may well leave in this months transfer window (rumors say Italy or China)... Caen should of scored from the head of Yahia but instead Falcao dived, stood up and converted the penalty. Bernardo set up Mbappe with a crafty through ball but Dreyer (GK) did well and Mbappe did not. Dreyer, though, gifted (Frango) the second goal to Monaco scored by Bakayoko (2 in 2). Caen scored very late but Monaco beat Caen at home for the first time since 2005!

    A.C. Ajaccio 1 (Cavalli 65')

Both Bernardo and Moutinho started and finished. Mbappe crossed for a good finish by Falcao before Ajaccio were given a penalty for a dive which Cavalli just got past De Santis as 'Sub' was rested. Moutinho then got the assist for Germain's winner. Germain is respectable in the air for a small player, I rate him, if you don't have the money for the stars at Monaco (and there is a a handful) he would be a good buy (depending on the price, which has gone up now, I guess). To be honest do not remember this game too much as there have been 3 games after this, so cannot remember how well Bernardo played.

    F.C. Sochaux-Montbéliard 1 (Andriatsima 15')
    A.C. Monaco 1 (Moutinho 82')

    Penalties

    F.C. Sochaux-Montbéliard 3
    A.C. Monaco 4

Moutinho played the whole game and Bernardo came on at half time. Sochaux scored first after some pretty lax defending. Sochaux (if I remember correctly) had won
their last 3 games in this completion on penalties. Bernardo failed to get enough on a header and then was forced wide when running into the box a while later. Sochaux were holding on but finally cracked, Dilo should of done better with the block which fell to Moutinho who blasted home on the volley in the 82th minute. In penalties, Falcao, Moutinho, Glik and Sidibe scored with Ilaimaharitra missing for Sochaux, Carrillo (5th) fluffed his kick, but his fears turned to relief as Sao then blasted over and thus gave the game to Monaco. Moutinho has been playing well and it is his last season at Monaco (I think) so do not be surprised if he goes in January or the end of the year (on a free, I think).

Ligue 1, Week 20, Sunday 15 January, Orange Vélodrome

Olympique de Marseille 1 (Rolando 28')
    A.S. Monaco 4 (Lemar 15', Falcao 21', Bernardo 45', Bernardo 56')

Bernardo started, replace 90' and Moutinho came off the bench for Germain 81'. Lemar (7th this season) scored a world class chip, remember the name he is going to get a massive transfer soon. Falcao (12th of the season) then added with a dink that could of come from his Porto/Atletico peak. Rolando ex-Porto then got one back with a soaring header. However just before the break Bernardo (3rd Lique goal, not 4th as he said)) turned into Ronaldo, good approach play, pass out wide, get into the box and head powerfully into the net. Bernardo then scored again (4th not 5th as he said[Lique]) this time finishing the rebound from Fabinho. At the end they say Bernardo is a Euro 2016 winner, he is not, he got injured, do you have to remind me.
