or Amaranto Recently watching Murillo I see him more of a young Luis Perea. He does silly mistakes but is fast enough to get back the ball so he looks great. I mean Murillo is super young for a CB so if he develops like Yepes that would be amazing. Or even a Cordoba but Cordoba retired pretty early because when he lost his speed his errors that he couldn't make up with speed become apparent. As it was with L. Perea
Dont think Murillo relies any where need as much on athleticism as Amaranto did early in his career. Amaranto was prob the fastest CB on the planet when he first got to Spain. Murillo tackles pretty well. Espinoza relies much more on his physicality.
press in Spain must have found out too somehow which is why they published those articles at the time.
not sure if it was goal or futbolred but it showed all the players Pekerman called and it says Bernando played 2 games for us. Any one remember which ones? He must have not gotten any minutes. I thought he was just called for the Atletico Madrid reserves game
he never played but he got called up a long time ago, we've mentioned it about a million times not sure how you hadn't noticed
Yea but was it a friendly or a WCQ? Are you only cup tied if you actually play the WCQ? I like Bernando but man Meza of Santa Fe def needs to get some minutes dude is real good just needs to hit the gym
I remember he was called up for the Mexico match in Miami in 2012 (Pekerman's first match.) As for cap tying he would have had to play an official match like Copa America, World Cup Qualifier, World Cup match. (Which he has not.)
So just being called isn't enough? I wish I had gone to the Mexico. Cuadrado scored a golazo after we made like 20 passes. Nicest I had ever seen our team play. Wish we could go back to that form.
No. Gonzalo Higuain was called in to train with France but since he did not play in an official match was allowed to play for Argentina.

He was captain last game. His contract expires in the summer and Everton and Waterford both want him. Kind of dumb of his club to not have given him A contract extension last summer. A poor club going to lose one of their top players for free.
out for 7 months..... His NT debut will have to wait... sucks was hoping to see him and Duvan Zapata start our next game
