......and Israel went down the ranking during the eli guttman campaigns. Horrid game again, Israel had the skill with zahavi hitting the bar, Hemed scoring at the end a nice header, but again the management really hurt us. the english commentator was frustrated with israel and you can't blame him, he was right, forwards playing in defense, everyone defending behind the ball when your down 2-0 3-0 and need to win. It was silly tactics. tal ben haim (forward) got injured and was sub'd out, Was another attacker brought in for him ? take a guess..... a midfielder Rican came in, which resulted in no attacking and falling back. Rikan also committed a poor foul which resulted in a goal. Eli Guttman did some amazing tactics, they were just for the other teams favor. Poor end to a poor qualifier, when we are expected to finish 3rd , we end up finishing 4th. When in realty we should be competing for first and second. Congrats to Belgium and Wales, they deserve it. Also Big respect to Bosnia which came back with wins against Israel, Wales, and Cyprus (who was playing their top futball). I knew this would happen, you can read my posts before, this is disappointing, even when I knew we would get nowhere with Guttman. time to look ahead to wc qualifiers in sept 2016, we have spain and italy in our group.
