Hey guys, I was watching this documentary.....and at one point they compared test results between belgian schools and US schools.

I think some of you guys will be impressed by how much Belgian kids owned American kids.

I watched ten minutes of it and got sick. How can you watch this crap? It adresses the viewers as if he's an imbecile.

I saw that a while ago, it struck me as very one-sided, and in the case of the Belgian students, somewhat dishonest. I'm willing to bet a lot of money on the fact that those Belgians attend a Flemish ASO school, which is a public school, but the "highest branch" of Belgian public schools. In no way do they correctly represent the average Belgian HS student.

I moved to the Us from Belgium (Flemish) at 14 , 8th grade, and didn't study at all throughout the rest of high school, graduated principals list in 96. My cousin is going to college in florida and is learning things he learned in 7th grade in Belgium
