Brugge just lost 3-2 to an Ukranian side. Standard lost 0-2 against Steau Bucharest. And Beveren is trailing VFB Stuttgart 0-2. After seeing Anderlecht losing three times in a row in the CL, you have to wonder how we became such pushovers in Europe in less than a decade.
Wow those are some bad results, but to be fair to Anderlecht, they've played Werder, Inter and Valencia, those are some pretty good clubs. Beveren trailing Stuggart isn't that big of a shock to me. I am surprised about Club Brugge and Standard.
Anderlecht was not expected to go far, Standard ...lucky to be here. Brugge is the best bet, but only slightly.
I had the feeling Beveren actually dominated Stuttgart, but they weren't that efficient. 1-5 seems too harsh however. Great goal from Romaric. Hildebrand had no chance.
