    Good move.
I think hes done a good job. In a reasonably tough group, we have a great shot at qualifying.
There have been slip ups, v Finland, and Armenia, but the fact is there are fewer a fewer minnows these days, and in an extended schedule sometimes you are going to lose.

Yeah, good decision. It will give our team the peace of mind of knowing who will be in charge, so that both players and the coach can concentrate on results. Probably not too early, either. I can't think of anyone I'd rather be in charge at this time, even if we wouldn't have made the EC.

Yes, you were correct. It appears that Leo will get the Polish Medal of Honor, or something similar to it, from our prezzie.

Any concerns? I'm asking because I haven't heard about any health problems with Leo. If you only mean his age, I think it's no reason to worry because he seems to be healthier and in better condition than average 50 years old guy:)

I thought he was in his 60's? I know that he smokes cigarettes, as made evident by the camera that caught him doing so during the Kazakhstan game :D

Born August 2, 1942, that makes him 65. He's in a good shape for a 65 year old, chain smokin' and all. I guess when you love what you do for a living, it keeps you young and healthy.

Yes he is, I meant I suppose he's still in better form than many younger guys. Doesn't he smoke cigars, not cigarettes?

sorry for digging up this old thread but...

    2009 might be right

Feyenoord is claiming that Leo is now their new Technical Advisor

Lato is gonna write a letter to the club asking for clarification

This tends to be a trend with elite dutch coaches, I suppose. As long as we keep winning he can be a consultant for the entire Eredivisie.
