It's time for another European Clasico. Why not? We don't tire of kicking Bayern ass. Time to put the Bavarian bitches in their place again.

We are looking at the recovery of Nacho but other than that we will have everyone available. For them Vidal is definitely out which is a pity because that's one red card in our favor out of the game. All hopes on Robben simulation x2 now. Neuer is just coming back to training and certainly won't be sharp if he plays.

    Head to head?
    Vikingos 11 wins (37 goals)
Bavarian buttercups 11 wins (36 goals)
    2 Draws

I was looking at all our meetings and in the last 17 years Bayern have beaten us twice. Once on penalties and once on away goals. While our results are a slightly different. Here's a little reminder for you lurking Bayern weirdos.

    Quarter finals last year.
Good guys won home and away. Final score 6-3.
Fallout: Neuer officially becomes Cristiano's bitch and by law has to name his unborn child Cristiano.

    Semi finals 2014
Beat down of epic proportions handed out by the Blancos. We walked into their house and took their dignity along with their land, livestock, women and pets. Final score 5-0.
Fallout: Sergio Ramos lays waste to Bavaria and is crowned king of the ashes.

In the quarter finals this year Bayern fans applauded Juventus goals while their own team was playing Sevilla. Bush league stuff from a bush league fan base. Their club directors and previous players talk shit about us on a regular basis. It was sweet to knock them out these last 2 times and will be even sweeter this time.

Does anyone know why they switch the days that teams play the second leg?

one matchup has 6 days between games, the other has 8

It's to keep it fair regarding prep days after league games and before CL games for both teams. So if you play Tuesday one week you play Wednesday the other. Also a long long time ago the Tuesday games had better ratings and viewership. So it was decided to give every team that slot alternatively, don't know if that's the case anymore though.

2 games to really make or break our season.

If we can kill the tie on this first leg then that would be awesome.

As long as we keep Lewa from using his height advantage against Carvajal then we should be okay.

Just got to keep calm, play our game and watch Benz and Ronaldo turn back the time again.

    Let's do this!

That far post cross and mismatch on Carvajal tactic might be used again. We'll have to be prepared for it.

I won't lie, James worries me.

Yup, James is a big game player and that is definitely concerning. He will also have something to prove to Zizou. The only solace that I have is that hopefully Zidane knows how to shut down James. I'm guessing Casemiro and Marcelo will be tasked with marking Robben, while Luka or Kroos will track James.

Our guys' familiarity with James will be helpful but he will have the same advantage. Lets see.

Robben's legendary diving and James are two things that concern me the most.

Somehow doesn't work like that in 2018, weird season.

It's gonna be close, but I have a good feeling about this.

He's been back to training but I wouldn't use a player that hasn't played for like a year (?) in such a match, really doubt that Heynckes would do it either.

Zidane should know how to handle situation with Carvajal. Ramos is back, right? That should help the aerial battle. Casemiro's performance has been inconsistent. If he showed up on Wednesday, everything would be fine. Meanwhile, James has something to prove. And I hate this!

I do not trust this team with a big lead heading into the 2nd leg. So I am praying for a..... a big lead. :) What else can a fan wish for?

ZZ will have some really interesting decisions to make. I've been railing against the diamond for a while but with Bayern's overall lack of pace the lack of defensive shape in that setup might not be as much of an issue. Still, I'd be more comfortable with two of Bale/Asensio/Lucas on the field sealing up the flanks. Personally I'd go with the 4-4-2 DEATH LINEUP. Marco is a big game player, and I want him out there. I know that probably leaves Isco on the bench, but it is what it is.

I would go with 442 away from home as well. Regardless of 442 or 433, Benzema over Bale.

We need to keep the ball not immediately lose it.

We should bag as many away goals as we can. This will be close, away goals will matter.

    Let's make it 6 in a row!!

We used to think we had a German curse. Well, it looks like the curse is the other way around for the Bavarians!
