The Ambassadors have concluded their 3 successfull tryouts with over a 100 players attending. They will be playing a pre-season game with the SF SEALS Sunday 1/18/2009 @1pm at the Chabot College. Game is free, all welcome.
I hope the Ambassadors will be diplomatic in defeat [sorry couldn't resist]. It should be a good match. I wish the Ambassadors all the best with the upcoming NPSL season.
Actually the Ambassadors played pretty good and beat the all mighty Seals 1-0. I thought the crowd was pretty good for a friendly. It was almost as good as a regular season Frog's match.
yep, not bad for a 1st ever game...the present Seals has been around for a few years...not to mention 4 one on one goals missed...Looking for a deadly striker...

Hey guys, the Ambassadors are now selling season tickets. They are also letting any kids team wearing their jersey's in for free for their home opener on May 3 at 3pm at Chabot College in Hayward Cal. The team so far looks good, a couple of the players that stand out are Luis Montañez, he plays for the US beach National team, Johnny Gonzales played for the SJ Frogs and SJSU, Sergio Valle he's the third goalie for the US National beach soccer team and played for the SJ Frogs and CSUEB, Dannylo Ayllon he played for the SJ Frogs, CSUEB and got invieted to train for a couple first div teams in El Salvador. The Bay Area Ambassadors have started their preparations for the upcoming season. This season should be even better for the Ambassadors because with the other east bay team folding (la morinda) a lot of their players will be joining the Ambassadors. The Bay Area Ambassadors started their 2010 season with a win vs the Sacramento Gold. The final score was 2-1 in a very rainy afternoon. The next game will be against Real San Jose at Yerba buena High School in San Jose.
