Here is our 2016 schedule, starting with John Harkes' FC Cincinnati team...Mikey, no more moments with him in the men's room of the Three Lions'. http://www.uslsoccer.com/SportSelec...PID=157014&Q_SEASON=2016&CONF_SCHOOL_ID=40847
Maybe we should invite former Battery player Eric Wynalda to our opener to reunite the 2 old "friends"!
Battery drew with Miami FC this morning 1-1, don't know who scored for the Battery, maybe Auggie will phone in some details.
Figures, we haven't had rain in a month, everything is choking from the pollen and dust, so when does it look like we're going to finally get some? Saturday....all day & night......when we're all looking forward to our last preseason match against the Cosmos. Mother Nature's a bitch.
Great 3-0 win over the NY Cosmos last night. I thought defense looked solid and Alex didn't have lot to do in the back but did have a couple good saves. I thought our midfield was on fire. Chang has looked really good in other preseason matches and I hope he keeps healthy! Ricky is going to keep scoring and will be interesting to see how Willliams fits in All and all a great night and really happy with the way the team looked last night
Agreed, got to be a great confidence booster going into the season. We never looked out of position, very composed all over. And I like how we seemed to play more on the ground going forward, some good passing, fewer 50/50 long balls. Getting Williams worked into the mix will be a good problem for Auggie.
