Big Soccer just offered me a 2010 Kenny Cooper US Jersey... yeah, don't imagine even he'll be wearing that much this year.

    See you bastards Saturday.

Absolute Travesty that the BDT is on the second page.

Let me provide helpful advice. Loony's has a happy hour with $3 Dogfish. I just learned that they serve the 90 minute - not the 60 minute. The difference is 90 is 9% while 60 is 6% in true pints.

Like the team, the reverent BDT has been failing for significantly much of the season.

We don't have much to be optimistic, but the BDT provides an outlet for unrealistic optimism - even drunkard fantasy (for example, Henry being knocked down by Morsink while Pontius takes the ball into to the box for winning goal in MLS CUP). Happy thoughts.

    F all of you realists!

Other than heat stroke-inducing temperatures, grill smoke in our faces, and cops hanging around to keep the ganja smokers honest, it's just like being at a tailgate!

I'm optimistic that I'll be drunk in Lot 8 prior to game time tonight. Pre-posting to the BDT.

    Also-we will win this game!:D

    Happy Thanksgiving, Locos!

Been drinking pinot grigio and nibbling on spanakopita and toasted camembert things.

In a little bit we'll be having smoked turkey, cranberry-orange sauce, oyster dressing, cornbread and chorizo dressing, sweet potato casserole with pear brandy and mini marshmallows, chayote and shrimp casserole, pumpkin bread, and a nice Shenandoah zinfandel.

Pumpkin-pecan pie and liqueurs for the Saints game.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday!

    Enjoying our Thanksgiving leftovers.
Thankful that our new signing makes up for his lack of size by being slow. :)

I just don't feel like getting on Big Soccer when I'm drunk. Usually.

Eddie has outdoor training tonight - brrr. I will have my little flask to help me stay warm over on the sideline. Soccer dad's little helper.

You’re right, Merrybee, we’ve been way to long away from the keyboard. A new thread is probably justified, but craps-sake I'm lazy, so.....

Hey, Worm, this one’s mostly for you since you seemed starved for drunken patronage:
I started this beautiful day outside with a single-malt scotch given to me for Christmas. Since I didn’t pay for it, what the hey? I was on it like a bum on a sandwich. About 1/3 of the way down, I corked it and started on the Sam Adams Holiday selection case. There's some damn good shyt in those boxes; I’m still working on that. Next, we’ll be uncorking a nice St. Emilion to go with the dripping-in-fat standing rib roast, our New Year’s Eve tradition. After that, we’ll uncork a super-sweet Sauternes to go with homemade éclairs. Finally, to piss-away this God-rotten year, we’ll be downing the champagne. After that, if I haven't yet hit the deck face first, I’m going to pewk out my guts all over the place. Am I up to standards yet, Worm? I’m such a whore for adulation; I really need your approval here.

Another thing, before I forget it -- to all the Barra Bros and Bras who have made it this far through this drivel --- Happy New Year!

2 bottles of champagne into 2 time zones worth of midnight. I've got 2 more bottles in the fridge, along with a sipping cooler of beer. Alaska and Hawaii, bring it!

Happy F'n New Year Bitches!! :D
