Someone in Facebook just told me that they wear two for World Cups and two for Olympics. Pretty ghey if you ask me.
Did a google on that. Two stars for their gold medals in the '24 & '28 Olympics, before the WC came into existence (at that time, world championships). The other two for the '30 & '50 WC wins.
I looked it up too. Uruguay has 15 Copa America Trophy's. Maybe they gave themselves 2 stars for those victories? I posted this in the Italian national team thread but figured it belonged here too.... Uruguay's total population is only 3 444 006! Makes one wonder what everyone else is doing wrong?
