What does it say about Roma that "Juve are a mess", yet they still have a point more than Roma in the league?
Juve conceded 20 goals all of last season. They’ve conceded 14 goals so far and it’s not even December.
And that 14 conceded is still only topped by Roma, Inter and Napoli. The goal difference is +23. Only Napoli is better. That's hardly what I would consider a mess. It just means they aren't as good as they were last season.

Torino are at mid-table. They probably will not make Europe but they should be safe from relegation. Belotti missing out on the WC will likely hurt them with their transfer clause but crisis is a bit of an exaggeration.

That's because Napoli fans tend to be superstitious bumpkins who imagine that some random fan in Toronto's overconfidence might somehow cause a team on the other side of the world to lose football matches.
I don't think they are the favorites anymore. Napoli is gonna pull this thing off this season. But I'm also not foolish to think Juve is done either. This will be a race to the last week or so.
