Did anyone see the rumors about the Balkan League? Is their any substance to this? It says the league would be comprised of all of the Former Yugoslavia as well as Bulgaria and Hungary. This has been in the works since 2006 I believe was the first time I heard of this, problem is right now corruption, it has been fixed in Bosnia and Slovenia, idk how bad it is in Serbia but I hear it's really bad in Croatia, the rest of the nation idk how corrupt they are, if uefa or FIFA can make money on something they sure will try to implement it but 2015 is not happening it's to close to organize a tourney need at least up to 2016 or 2017
That would be such a failiure. Every league currently sends about 3-4 teams to European competitions. You mean to say that they're going to go from sending 24-32 teams down to sending only 4-5? 6 out of 8 countries would never see their clubs competing in Europe ever again.
