What they should do is play all the international games at seasons end. That is when the WC is played and its not like these two year qualification cycles and friendlies do anything to create cohesion or excitement. If anything, many times the same players don't always make the final WC or Euro Cup because two years of qualification is a long time. Does anyone really care about WCQ or ECQ games in September following the tournament? To me they are mostly a wate of time...
