Sucks 'bout the end of summer for you, but... how does the 2x dipping work? You retire at age 55 or so then transfer to a district in GA, where you'll work for 15 years or so, all the while????

I think in Bama, you put in your 25 (back home in NC, it is 30 years) and are able to retire and draw your pension. Several folks at my school that have "retired" in the last 3 years then come across the river and work in Columbus plus drawing that pension.
