strong side no doubt... its a great sign that 5 of them will be late as they're off with the senior squad at the moment

only one i see left off is Romagnoli but i assume due to injury?

I think this U21 team is better than the senior team! Between the U21 & the U20's, there seems to be aplenty of talent to go around. Largo ai giovani e via i vecchi stranieri!

Era un presagio dolce e lusinghiero.
    Il Piave mormorò:
    “Non passa te straniero!”

Our U21 team is beyond ridiculous in talent. I can't remember a side this stacked since about 1996 (which was loaded). Anything less than the Finals (and frankly the title) will be disappointment in my book.

The 1986 Under 21 squad was pretty awesome as well. Just check out the names....

That was a beautiful goal by Orsolini. He seems to be headed for stardom.

England completely dominated the 2nd half. Only one team was interested in going forward and winning this thing

yeah they gave England the ball for 90 mins, got what they deserved by not trying to play, sitting back and not get a second goal. Evani blew it at half time by not getting them to push up the pitch and keep the ball. what a weak bs way to lose a semi final

They looked like they had no legs at all. Completely different team than the France game. I wonder if they expended too much energy playing 10 men from that BS red card in the Zambia game. This wasn't the same team.

Too bad for Italy. These guys coupled with the U21's, I'm sure have a bright future ahead of them.

    Bravi Ragazzi!

The U21 UEFA championship starts on the 18th vs Denmark.

    The future definitely looks bright

Orsolini could be the next big thing and I don't say that often about young Italian players

It's just disappointing they went out by playing defensive. This was an England team they had beaten 2-1 in the semis of the U19 championships a year ago. Too much respect was given to them IMO.

The broadcasters had multiple orgasms with Ojo, or Ono, or whatever that guys name was. Italy didn't look the same that's for sure, whether fatigued or disinterested the difference between the halves was pretty significant, especially in the last 10 minutes of the first where England looked like the team that was gassed.

Especially when you consider they've nbever really done much at the U20 level.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Patrick Cutrone's goals. I'm sure the U20's & U21's could have used him this summer.

U21s are getting hammered by Spain.

Lets hope this doesn't happen tomorrow to the senior side.
