Re: AZZURRI vs brazil Feb 10 Friendly they have the depth and age on there side, though Italy has better Goalies and Central Defenders and there is a arguement for forwards but in the midfield and left/right back position Brazil is superior.
Re: AZZURRI vs brazil Feb 10 Friendly I think the only portion of the field they are superior is in the midfield. Defense is somewhat equal, but Buffon def gives us the edge. And our forwards have been performing light years above theirs. Our forwards have superior goal-to-minute ratios than that of the Brazilian forwards. Anyway, I know what you're saying - it will be a tough match because Brazil are, well, a very good team. I'm just saying we are as well. It is pretty evenly-matched though. Regardless, this is a friendly and I want to see Lippi do some experimentation with new faces and possibly new formations. I'm more concerned with progression as a team than the result to be honest (though I surely wouldn't want a loss).
