In the Europa League match-ups for the Round of 32, Salzburg drew Eintracht Frankfurt and LASK drew AZ Alkmaar. That round will be played February 20 & 27. I think Salzburg will defeat Frankfurt, currently sitting in the lower half of the Bundesliga. But I don't expect LASK will advance over Alkmaar, which is currently second in the Eredivisie and tied on points with leaders Ajax.

Europa League LASK 2 - 0 AZ Alkmaar Salzburg 2 - 2 Eintracht Frankfurt One of the two Austrian clubs advanced to the Round of 16, but not the one I expected. Like in the Bundesliga, LASK continued their tremendous form in the Europa League, dispatching Alkmaar, currently second in the Eredivisie. After losing by three goals in Frankfurt, Salzburg's task in the second leg was too tall an order. They're eliminated in the Round of 32.
