CP should have done better on that loose ball in the box

CP wins the corner which leads to Yarmo's early goal.

 

CP's passes had not been accurate so far. Haven't been aggressive with the ball either.

Wide open guy in the back. BVB's defense has gaps.

I turned on in 5' and since then he's looked pretty poor tbh

CP took a hard tackle to the knee...

 

Great turn in the corner on Opare, and the Ghanaian wing back hacks him down. Terrible tackle. ******** Opare!

Passes not been very accurate.

Have not been aggressive and taking on defenders.

Is he loosing a bit of confidence?

 

CP has come alive the last few minutes. Combined, beat Opare in corner, getting more involved.

 

damn Auba...one on one with the keeper and had the ball tackled away by the keeper.

very poor there.

 

The commentator Barton has had a good assessment. He's staying too isolated out left.

 

CP not helped by having Toljan behind him. He's been really poor going forward since his transfer, mostly due to being played out of position. He's reaaaaalllllyyyy not comfortable on his left foot.

 

CP nice run into box, lay back to Weigel who shot at defender....

 

From a technical standpoint, he hasn't looked good. But he's put himself in really dangerous positions with some frequency.

 

He's not lacking confidence but he's lost just about every dribble

 

CP with a nice run from the right side, too many touches, and cough up the ball.....need to work on that final pass/shot

 

When attacking players in 1v1 positions, he looks like he's going way too fast, not taking his time to set the defender up. Just played a fabulous ball in behind that Kagawa fluffed his lines on.

 

confidence might have something to do with that....when you got the feelings, you'll run like a mad man

 

Yes, true. He's trying to do something incredible to compensate for these mistakes
