I watched farewell shows from many footballers, for Armani it was something special. Only Aristi had the same vibes I think. It was amazing show by the club, by the fans (who for some reason were criticized by Gabriel Meluk?!) and Armani deserved every second of it. I never wished a former player of my club to succeed so much in a rivalry club like I hope Armani will do with River, just not on our expense. He is the real story of the ugly duck who became a swan. And he deserves to be in Russia, with Colombia or Argentina. I hope he'll get the chance.

    #ParaSiempreArmani :cry::cry::cry:

It seems that Marulanda and the management were very surprised that Dayro didn't show up for training. Already started bad. He said that Nacional filled all it's obligations so that Dayro continue in the club another year according to their agreement with Tijuana. I think that both the club (Tijuana) and Dayro are waiting for a better proposal. I like Dayro, but if you already agreed terms with Nacional, you shouldn't act like this. I hope it's nothing serious and that Moreno will continue. But if he was a god so far in Nacional, now the fans are a bit angry on him.

    Is just dayro.

Tijuana already received the money agreed in the contract.

Dayro wants a 3 years contract.

I always wonder what teams spend their transfer money on. Salaries perhaps

Yeah mostly salaries, and Nacional has invested a LOT in their training grounds which now i think Is one of the best in South América.

Also I think they save a little for their "thin cows" period.

Looks like the Dayro situation hasn't gotten any better... He's not part of the list of the players traveling to Orlando for the Disney Tournament.

And now Gio is making excuses for not signing because he wants a competitive team, like his Chinese squad is no less than Real Madrid. He lost many points with the fans.

Yeah pathetic guy............fear of faling is the same fear to succes.

Millonarios was champion with a humble roster, but with guys that wanted to play and win............no space in my team for a freezer like gio

I think the mistake was done by Nacional by rushing to announce something without having a signature... if they wouldn't have announced anything it would have stayed as just as rumor.. now they just created a huge mess.

The word of a person is important.

Between Mina and Barcelona nothing is signed.............nobody in the parts have announced the agreement.........but if the deal falied.........would be a huge mess in the same way

It is but you can not make it public unless you're 100%sure.. that was the main mistake. That is why Barcelona have not announced anything.

Actually nacional didnt confirm that he signed . they said that in a meeting with the president, almiron and the player agreed to return.

Gio Moreno showing why he is in china..lack of ambition and scary of success

Exactly.. Everything was obviously not ready! you can't make those announcements. People went out and bought tickets based on that announcement.

He doesn’t want to take the wage cut. He is 31.... last few seasons to make money. He is the best players on a team that pays insane money

What are his chinese wages? What would his wage be in Nacional?

Also he has to train less and play less with an easy season in China. Seems like common sense to stay. Even if he is the toP player in the league next season No guarantee he makes it to russia. Can you guys see him having a better season than Macnelly who got cut and is much better?

Even if they win everything next season with him as a star and he makes it to the WC. His play time isn’t much. You going to bench James or Cuadrado for him?

He can’t play where Sanchez or Abel play.

Comes down to wages and reality

yeah this doesn't look good on Moreno, makes him look really mediocre. It's like a throwback to the colombian players of 2005.

I don't personally care about Gio, I just feel bad for Nacional's fans.

in other news, Braghieri and Monetti from Lanus are rumored to be close to Nacional.

    Not good for two reasons.
1)I don't like the way he plays.
    2) It probably means Zuniga is going to be in limbo for many more weeks.

yeah I don't like him either, but trying to sign a top colombian full back is really damn tough. He couldn't even cut it at Brugge. Was completely frozen out of the squad

I'm not a fan either, but from what we have in Colombia, he's not that bad option. I would like to see Zuñiga, but to be honest, I hardly think that we will get a better player than Helibelton. Just like Armero, zuñiga is also out of form. Helibelton should be a backup for Bocanegra in my opinio. In Cali he was actually good before he went to Belgium.

Braghieri signed in Nacional. I don't know him too well to be honest. Now I guess Monetti will sign also, although in my opinion Cristian Vargas deserves a shot.

If he just plays in the Colombian League I guess I would be fine with it.

If he plays in the Libertadores I will start to barf a bit. The guy is more clumsy than a blind three legged goat.
