Miguel Angel Russo is linked with Junior's job. What do you think?

Hopefully TeoDios and Tesillo come back. I wouldn't mind if Junior would get Pertuz and Marimon as well.

from what i've seen he seems to be the one who's linked with Junior the most. I don't see Russo happening.

Rumor says that Edwin Valencia may sign. We all know that he is a good player, yet too much injury prone.

They shouldn't sign players before having a coach. It's a waste of money.

According Gabriel Camargo, Alberto Gamero will be Junior's coach. I wonder if it's true because he can still win the title with Tolima. If it is true, good signing by Junior. I like Alberto as a coach.

Yea four great transfers but without a coach could be a waste of money. If he doesn't want them

They really need to drop that clown Toloza. Hope they can get Cuellar back.

They are linked to Bucaramangas 21 year old striker. Blanking on his name right now

Im pretty sure they have Gamero in the bag, not going to confirm it until the final's over though.

    Viera to Boca

Kind of late for Junior to get a starting GK. If this transfer is true hope they get decent money as well.

Any decent Colombian GKs available? Is Vargas at Dept Cali or Nacional? Bonilla? How about Envigados GK?

I mean easy team..... it's like the Sudamericana . We always get a Peruvian, Ecuadorian or Venezuelan team. Our teams should always make it.

Millos has it the hardest but hope they win. Colombian teams need to prove our league isn't just Nacional.

You have selective memory. What you're saying is not really fair or even looking at the equation from all sides. Traditionally, other Colombian clubs have had major showings for DECADES. Consider for a moment that clubs from Brazil + Argentina always enter the competition with mostly twice the amount of candidates. Just purely as a numbers function, their odds are favorable to our usual 3-4 participants. I recall an era, where even within group stages we would sometimes end up with 2 Colombian clubs trying to get 1-2 spots.

Even if you're solely looking to criticize without honestly looking at what you're typing, think for a moment:
Is your comparison the top 3 leagues in Latin America?

    the Mexican League:
If you consider the Mexican league a far 'richer/deeper' league? How many CL have they won in ALL their participations? If it's so easy to capitalize by just throwing money into it.

    the Argentine League:
Looking at their laurels and given many favorite odds for years (remember Grondona was king with Conmebol), one can look at only their past 20 years of performance in CL and see that with Boca Jrs. leading the pack, their results tend to lean heavily toward 1-2 clubs---but ultimately, where is Boca Jrs in CL or even Sudamericana this year?

    the Brazilian League:
Again, much deeper pockets than we have -- infrastructure and a deep talent pool. Stats can look a bit skewed based on the far amount of CL entries vs our league. And they show a very solid CL spread amongst many clubs.
But we're not Brazil or Mexico or Argentina. So given what we can only invest what we have money for ---our talent pool coupled with participation rate.... one can say that we tend to overachieve and go far in these tournaments.

Looking quickly at the last 5 years, not including Atl Nacional's 2016 championship run, shows 3x final 8, 1 final 4 and 1 final 16. Currently Atl Nacional is in a golden era. Has been for the last 5 years. Many Colombian clubs have gone thru similar eras. One need not go further than Santa Fe, who has also have an amazing last 5 years, competing at a very high level despite constantly being picked apart from a player and coaching stand point.
