Yeah it's definitely a one sided set up.

Don't think it'll change anytime soon though.

I've read that Atleti are interested in signing Rossi.

Would love to see it since Aguero's all but gone now.

On the Aguero situAtion. Looks like Juve reps are coming to meet his agent and Atletico Madrid. What are u guys hearing from your side? Is he going to Juve or will he end up in England or Real Madrid? We could really use him at Juve.

Most of the buzz seems to be around Juve.

Hey fellow Atletico fans :D Doesn't seem too be much activity round here even though we could be in for quite an exciting season in my opinion. Some very good new signings too make up for losing one massive one but i think we are in pretty good shape going into our first game. Would like a new defender still though.

Brilliant debut from Diego. We've needed this creative presence in the final third for a while.

Also, regarding Turan. Great new option for the bandas! Love his 1 v 1 ability and his crossing. I'm not sold on Miranda just yet, but maybe he will adapt.

Is it me, or does Atleti look disorganized on offense when they are pressing late in the game and trying to score the "needed" goal. See the Valencia game or today vs. Sevilla. In both cases they were throwing a bunch into the attack and pressing forward, espedcially with Arda and Diego cutting inside. But they have trouble getting the ball to Falcao or another attacking player. It's like they aren't on the same page or something yet.

Falcao has looked awesome against poor teams, and looked OK against decent teams, and was non-existent against Barça. The last one is mostly due to the poor midfield play and him not getting service, but I wanted more from him in that match.

Also, I really really really don't want to see Perea or López (although, I do appreciate what a loyal player López has been for Atlético over the years). They are liabilities at the back these days (for different reasons, but liabilities nonetheless). It was a mistake to put them out there against Barça. Miranda, Silvio, Godín, and especially Felipe Luis have ALL looked much better than those two.

I guess I'm somewhat happy with Atlético's play overall. They aren't shipping goals like they used to (Barça notwithstanding) where it felt they were on the verge of catastrophe all the time. Some players have been inspired additions (Arda, Courtois, Falcao, Diego, and Mario Suárez) while others have been only OK (I'm looking at you Gabi...). I hope they can win a European berth this season and possibly sneak into a top 4, CL position. It will be tough, and they'll need 3 points in games like the Valencia and Sevilla games to do it though.
