Yeah, I heard some reports of rowdiness from the Xelaju fans. Did you see much of that?

 

Some were pretty pissed after the third Silverback's goal. Some objects were thrown at the team after that. Mostly though it was good. Lots of horns, flags and even a couple of big drums.

 

Man, I've hated those guys from Xelaju MC forever. Always bragging about how good they are. It was good to finally shut them up.

That rumor came to life a couple of days ago, but I find it very odd that nothing more substantial has surfaced since then and that the only mentions of this have come from the El Salvador media.

Could it happen? Sure. However, I have to put it in the "believe when I see it" category at this point.

 

Exactly. I could be wrong, but one would think a move of this magnitude would have been reported in the New York media by now.

 

Moreover, doesn't it seem like they would have made the move earlier in the summer than now?

 

Interesting, but until there is better evidence I'd say unlikely.

 

Went to the BBQ tonight. The deal with the Cosmos fell through but he might move to MLS.

 

And that's the move I would have expected in the first place. Will he be playing in the meantime, however? Hopefully we'll see him in action this weekend.

 

From what I understand he is technically not signed to the Silverbacks at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if he isn't there.

 

Ah ha...so he was on a spring season deal like Luna, then. Hmmm.

 

Yeah. I guess we'll see. At least it's not the damn Cosmos!

 

As I was saying to someone on Twitter the other night, I have no qualms at all with Menjivar climbing the ladder. He's earned it.

To go to a league rival, however? No thank you.

Hey, he was at the BBQ, so don't give up hope yet! I also think I saw Jahbari there, but don't quote me on that...

 

And I saw him in one of the pictures taken at the aquarium today, so something tells me we'll see him on Saturday.

Very cool if that was indeed Jahbari. I jokingly tweeted the Silverbacks to tell them he had been released by Ft. Lauderdale as soon as the news broke and that they should get him back in. Maybe they listened to me!

 

Oh nice, where'd you see the picture? I only saw him briefly and since he doesn't have his dreads anymore...

That would really be great if he would come back after the failed Herron experiment.

 

Sorry, I should have clarified. I saw Menjivar in the picture. I'll have to track it back down to see if I can find Willis.

 

Oh ok ha. I see a picture on Twitter where the team look like possessed demons and I see Richie, don't see Willis though.

 

Sounds like we're talking about the same picture. At second glance, I don't see Willis there either.
