It was a pretty dour affair. We are not moving through the center of the field, and we are too skilled to be playing British long ball to this degree. Llorente is an asset, not a crutch.
and it's not as if llorente is doing too much himself. He -so frustratingly- tries to dribble past everyone all the time. Just shows how important Toquero is. Now if only Toquero had better technical skills...

The game stunk. Iraizoz made a silly decision to come out on Di Maria and was rightfully called for a penalty. Castillo could not keep pace with Di Maria, and was called for a penalty (I thought a bit soft). Then Ronaldo finished us off. All while Madrid got away with their typical cheap hackery, blading players constantly after passes with no punishment. I hate Madrid. Hate.
