With a -6 penalty and 3 matches into the season (Roma and Siena with a match in hand) Atalanta is already in 15th place. lol
Moralez was beasting today for atalanta, had denis or schelotto gotten near any of his crosses inter would have lost definitely a player worth looking into
They lost 3-1 to Bologna but I still think that they can have a good season. Apparently Schelotto might leave in January. Carmona played a full game: http://www.football-italia.net/sa1112/bol-ata.html
Colantuono has put a good team together. Marilungo finally got a chance to play and scored a brace against Cesena. Aside from Denis (who is around 30), they have some good youngsters in attack. The most surprising thing is that Denis is the leading scorer in Serie A!
Inzaghi might play for Atalanta http://www.soccermagazine.it/calciomercato/atalanta-inzaghi-e-pronto-a-tornare-86539/
Hello Atalanta forum members. I am new to this forum as I park the bus over on the Swiss league side of things but I am a passionate Atlalanta supporter and have been so for years (as passionate as one can be supporting this club). So as we all know we have been a middling Serie A team for years and a fairly dominating Serie B team and we have had some good players but never really threatened to make a big splash in Serie A like competing for European football. This year though there was hope with some really good young players like Caldara, Gagliardini and Kessie! Alas all 3 are either gone or going (Caldara has signed with Juve but won't be going till 2018). I don't communicate in Italian so those forums are off for me but are no Atalanta supporters up in arms over this? Why bother, the club had something special here for once and they have thrown it away. They could have at least waited until the summer transfer window! I am upset and not happy with this and after they thrashed Chievo 4-1 yesterday with none of those 3 in the line-up I guess the club has no reason to care.
